Hello fellas, I'm new here as my son is a freshman in the PnAC in 2008.  I found this and hope to share some thoughts and observations about the league....

I'd share who he plays for, but lets wait to see how he does....hahaha.  Just kidding.  He is a freshman pitcher for Alvernia.  I love that atmosphere, and the staff there, they seem to "get it" when it comes to baseball.

Time to switch the name on the topic line.

Best wishes in your off-season and under the new moniker.

I notice that Baptist Bible College appears to be not declaring for the D-III championship.

2009 Baseball BBC Schedule (http://www.bbcdefenders.com/baseball/schedule.asp)

BBC would make the 7th baseball team at my first count of the 2009 participants.

Centenary NJ
Gwynedd-Mercy College
Keystone College
Marywood College
Neumann College
Philadelphia Biblical University

Alvernia College has gone to the MAC Freedom.

Eastern College has gone to the MAC Freedom

Misericordia College has gone to the MAC Freedom.

So Ralph Turner, I am still waiting for Cabrini to start a mens team in conference play....... would they have to have their own field or would they be allowed to share a field with someone else nearby.

Not clear on Ncaa rules.

Sure do wish they would hurry up and get a team for some hungary Delco boys.

Well wolfpac it only took five years for it to be announced  ;D, but Cabrini is going to have a baseball team in 2016-17. They just hired the first coach of the program, Nick Weisheipl.

I'm curious to know. Does anybody know why Clarks Summit doesn't compete in the CSAC, even though they do have a baseball team? Thanks.

Cabrini's inaugural season starts this weekend. The CSAC put out its preseason poll. The top team(Keystone) was expected as was the 8th and last team Cabrini.

I will say this. The Cavs are going to shock this conference. They won't finish last. I wouldn't be surprised if they make the playoffs.
Batter up!
GO CAVS!!!

Great wins today to start the inaugural season of Cabrini baseball. Cavs win 10-9 and 5-3 to sweep the doubleheader against Penn State Brandywine. Next games will be in Florida during spring break next week.

Cabrini is 10 games in and 6-4. Real test will start this weekend as they start conference play hosting last years national runner up, Keystone. All 3 games will be played in Radnor due to the weather issues and field conditions in NE PA. Friday afternoon Keystone will be the home team and the DH on Saturday Cavs will be home. The weather looks good this weekend.  :)

In 2021-22, Centenary moves to the AEC.
Rosemont adds baseball, so the CSAC still has 7 teams and keeps its AQ.
