Title: Coaches Challenge could be part of Stagg Bowl

More interesting than the Challenge is the fact that the NCAA will be reviewing the tournament selection criteria. They may look at some "football only" adjustments, since the criteria don't always translate well to football's realtively short 10-game regular season.

On the General D-III Issues board posters have discussed the effect of removing the Regional designation for football, and letting all NCAA D-III games (or even ALL games) count.

I believe coaches' challenges have been in place for previous Stagg Bowls, though via the SEC rules, not NFL-style. Also, Lance Leipold I think mentioned to us once that he wasn't really aware that he could challenge, or that in the heat of the game he kinda forgot, which is fair, since these guys coach every other game without replay, and then get a quick briefing in the middle of preparation for their most important game ever that there's going to be replay rules for them to learn.
