Title: D1 walk-on or D3 starter
Post by: CSC Spartan on May 12, 2010, 07:55:50 PM
I really respect all Division college athlete.
so,
If You had chance to play college level,
Which is select?

D1 Coach told you "invited walk-on...no tryout"

D1 school details
Normally academic school,
Low major conference
NCAA's appearance none...

D3 school details
Good academic school in your live region(I mean,Not Top Academic school in country)
Power house D3 school,
NCAA's Appearance 7( in Recent 10 years)

D3 Coach told you "prepare to starting five in fresh year"

ultimate choice!!

Is there a chance you could get playing time and possibly a scholarship down the road at the D1 school. If that's the case I would probably say D1. If not I would probably say D3.

There are other variables that would weigh on my mind like how I liked the coach or the system they play or how I liked the campus and the college itself. I answered assuming those things are equal.

If you're paying tuition either way, go to the school that best fits what you want from a college.
