Title: Are there any Power Run Teams in D3?

I know that most of college football has gone to primarily "spread" type offenses. Are there any wishbone or run based teams in D3 ??

Salisbur runs the triple option and runs it well. I know they hav use the wishbone and power I in the past.

Ripon College in the MWC I believe still runs the triple option.

W&L runs a triple option, though mainly from a shotgun set. Carnegie Mellon runs a variation on a Wing-T I think.

UMHB has been a power running team mixed with speed option and triple option out of the I and pistol formations since football started there in 1998.

The short answer to your question is yes. Several have been named here - and yes, jknezek, I'll confirm that Carnegie Mellon still runs the wing-T.
