I would love to see the Stockton/RUC match. I've got a conflict, but maybe I can shuffle. Stockton is solid, but not what would call devastating. I think Lastguy is correct in predicting a RUC win, but I don't see a 4-1 victory. RUC doesn't destroy teams, and Stockton is pretty organized defensively. By this point in the season, lopsided contests between good teams are rare. I'll go 2-1 for RUC.

What happened between Stockton and Kean?  Why a forfeit?  After a very bright start, omitting the OWU result, Kean has really faltered.

Kean had an illegal player from what I've heard (not sure if true)...   Stockton has had some good results vs decent opponents (Lynchburg, Roanoke, Swat).  I think RU-C puts up atleast 3.  NJAC is still WIDE open, and Stockton can pretty much win the league with a positive result vs RU-C.

Top to bottom, I still consider this one of the best conferences for that reason.  Always a surprise team each year.

Montclair State is flying under the radar here...  2-2-1 without Mendoza in the Starting XI (came back vs. Rutgers-Camden).

Todays predictions

Rutgers-Camden 3, Haverford 1.
Montclair State 3, Kean 0.
TCNJ 1, Drew 1
Ramapo 2, Rowan 2
Willy P 3, St. Josephs 0
Rutgers-Newark 3, NJCU 1.

Rutgers-Camden is ranked in the top 5 in the country, but they don't even lead the Conference!!

Stockton is 6-1-0 in NJAC, and R-C is 5-0-2.  This accounts for the forfeit by Kean(0-2 loss), which was changed to a win on the NJAC site.

This site still has not changed the conference standings correctly.

Loras is 7th in the country and 2nd in their conference. Lost their only match of the year in a derby to Wartburg (who RV last week).

Given the final 2 games, Stockton can finish anywhere from 1st - 5th.  I would think they drop the game at MSU, and must win vs RU-N to not drop to 5.

As always, comes down to the last game for final playoff spot as all bottom 4 have a shot to get the last playoff spot.

A Kean win over Rowan and WPU loss at Newark would make things interesting.

I would pretty much rule Ramapo out given the two road games at MSU and at Camden.

I'm going to predict a Stockton tie with MSU, and a second-place finish in the NJAC. Of the three big contenders in conference, Stockton may be only third in talent, but they've got a big heart and have squeaked out results away from home. I have yet to see RUC play in the flesh this year, but knowing the program, players and depth, I think they win. I'll be very interested to see if they're ready for the big time and make a deep run in the NCAAs.

I'm going out on a limb and saying the 0-6-1 Kean is going to grab that last playoff spot.   Big game at home vs Rowan tonight...

That's a long limb, Lastguy. You are right that they are better than their record shows--I saw them play early in the season. I'm dubious because of the lack of big wins in conference (save for Stockton), and the disarray that may have been caused by getting caught cheating. I have to admit I don't know the story, there, so I could be out of line.

That having been said, I like the bold prediction style.

Kean just tied it up 1-1 on a PK.  Could LGOTB's prediction come true!?!  12:30 left to play

Well there goes Kean's chances for the playoffs,   ;)  Rowan scores in double OT

NJAC FINAL DAY                                                                 PREDICTIONS
Montclair State at Ramapo      3:00 PM                              Montclair wins 4-0
New Jersey City at Rutgers-Camden  6:00 PM                   Camden wins 3-0
Rutgers-Newark at Stockton  7:00 PM                               Newark wins 3-2
Kean at William Paterson       7:00 PM                               Kean ties 1-1
The College of NJ at Rowan   7:30 PM                               TCNJ wins 2-1

Rowan needs to get a positive result, or WPU could slide in for the last playoff spot.  Rutgers-Camden is guaranteed a bye with atleast a draw.
Stockton could finish as high as 1st or as low as 5th.

TCNJ over Stockton  2-0

Newark over WPU 3-1

Camden over TCNJ 2-1

MSU over Newark 3-1

MSU over Camden 2-1 to win the NJAC.     Camden has not been defeated at home in quite some time, so this should be a great final if they meet up...

TCNJ building their case for an NCAA bid...  should move up to #6 in NCAA Regional Rankings

Wins over #Montclair St (without Mendoza)

Draws with #3 Rutgers-Camden, #4 Stevens

Losses to Rutgers-Newark, Stockton, Drew, Muhlenberg

Bad loss to Rhode Island College

TCNJ could be on the outside looking in with that results vs Rutgers-Camden.   I think Rutgers-Newark will be a safe bet to lock up a Pool C bid...  Sitting at 17-4-1 with a fairly strong SOS... (losses @Plattsburg St, Camden, @Montclair, @Stevens Tech).  (Wins over @Stockton, TCNJ, and @Montclair St).

Rutgers-Camden has a home record of 30-1-2 the last 3 years, and are playing for the NJAC Threepeat  (the last team to beat them at home was Newark in Sept 2012)...    They hosted NCAAs in 2011 with wins over Merchant Marines and Wesleyan.  I would think they are a prime candidate to host again in 2013.

NJAC Final at Rutgers-Camden is moved from 1:00PM to 2:00PM.

Rutgers-Camden defeats Loras in OT on a shot from behind midfield.

Loras tied it @ 10 mins. to play; took the lead on a header with five mins. left and gave up the lead under two mins., before the OT goal about a minute into the extra time.

Good Luck in the final Scarlet-Raptors!!  GO NJAC!!
