Championship game
LEC is Tuesday, the 25th at higher seeds, semifinals and finals are Friday, February 28-Saturday March 1 at the highest seed after the quarterfinals.
The LEC is an absolute mess. With 5 games to go (the Eastern Connecticut and Western Connecticut postponed game from Tuesday being played Wednesday) and the 4 final games on Saturday, the only seed set is #8 Plymouth State.
If anyone wants me to keep track of the women's tournaments I'll do that as well. NESCAC & CUNYAC start on Saturday as well as the NJAC I believe.
A little more clarity in the LEC after Wednesday's games:
IF Dartmouth wins they will be the 3 seed no matter what else happens, and in this scenario the winner of Eastern Connecticut/Southern Maine gets the 2 seed and the loser gets the 4 seed and plays Western Connecticut in the 4/5 game.
IF Dartmouth loses, the winner of Eastern/USM is still the 2 seed, but the loser only drops down to #3.
Western Connecticut is stuck in the 4/5 game, but plays the game at home against Dartmouth as the 4 seed with a win AND a Dartmouth loss. In any other scenario they'll be the 5 going to either: USM, Eastern, or Dartmouth depending on what plays out.
RIC clinches the 1 seed and home court throughout the LEC tournament with: A win over 2-20 (and 3-52 last 55 LEC games) Plymouth State OR an Eastern loss @ USM.
Official LEC tournament field.
#6 Keene State (13-12, 5-9) (53)
@ 2/25 5:30 PM
#3 Eastern Connecticut (17-8, 9-5) (67)
#7 UMass-Boston (13-12, 4-10) (45)
@ 2/25 7 PM
#2 Southern Maine (18-7, 10-4) (53)
#8 Plymouth State (2-21, 1-13) (45)

#1 Rhode Island College (17-8, 11-3) (56)
#5 UMass-Dartmouth (15-10, 8-6) (57)
@ 2/25 5:30 PM
#4 Western Connecticut (15-10, 8-6) (64)
If your looking for an upset here: USM played 2 tight games with Boston, winning by 8 at home in January, and winning by 1 in Boston on Tuesday night. However, they are 62-0 in 62 career meetings with Boston, and Boston's best player is injured. #5 seed Dartmouth is 4-2 against the top 3 in the conference this year while Western was only 1-5 against the top 3, but Dartmouth got swept by Western this year including blowing an 8 point halftime lead at home, and they lost by 20 @ Western in January.
#4 Western Connecticut (16-10, 8-6) (46)
@ 2/28 5:30 PM
#1 Rhode Island College (18-8, 11-3) (56)
#2 Southern Maine (19-7, 10-4) (58)
vs. 2/28 7:30 PM (@ RIC)

#2 Southern Maine (20-7, 10-4) (59)
@ 3/1 4 PM
#1 Rhode Island College (19-8, 11-3) (64)
Likely would have been a 1 bid league anyways. Eastern (#8 in NE) and USM (#10) won't be able to jump Roger Williams (#6) so Eastern will either still be stuck behind RWU or the team left on the table when the process ends depending on whether or not JWU gets selected.
NESCAC tournament: quarterfinal games played at the higher seed 2/22; semi's and finals played at the highest remaining seed after the quarterfinals:
#7 Hamilton (11-12, 4-6) (33)

Semifinals and finals @ Tufts Saturday-Sunday March 1-2

Amherst & Bowdoin are near locks for the NCAAs and Williams will probably join the Jumbos in the NCAAs.

Championship game
Most likely going to be another WLC vs CUW final but the wild card is Alverno who has beaten the top two teams once each in the regular season (Albeit at home both times).
Cornell, St. Norbert, Monmouth and Carroll make up the Midwest field. Only Carroll has their seed determined (#4) while Cornell, St. Norbert, and Monmouth are still fighting for the top seed.
Colonial States Athletic Conference:
#1 Cabrini
#2 Neumann
#6 Rosemont at #3 Immaculata Monday 2/24(Immaculata won both meetings)
#5 Gwynedd at #4 Marywood Monday 2/24 (Marywood won both meetings)
Highest remaining seed at #2 Wednesday 2/26
Lowest remaining seed at #1 Wednesday 2/26
NJAC:

#3 William Paterson (16-9, 13-5) (74)
winner onto #2 TCNJ (18-7, 14-4)
#5 Richard Stockton (12-13, 9-9) (53)
@ 2/22 7 PM
#4 Kean (14-11, 11-7) (79)
winner onto #1 Montclair (23-2, 17-1)
First round Saturday the 22, semifinals the 25, finals on the 28 at the highest seed.
#3 William Paterson (17-9, 13-5) (80)

#3 William Paterson (18-9, 13-5) (64)
@ 2/28 7 PM
#1 Montclair State (25-2, 18-1) (67)
Montclair state wins the NJAC automatic bid. Would have been in the NCAA's regardless, so they save a bubble from popping....for now anyways.
SCIAC:
#4 Cal Lutheran (13-12, 9-7) (68)
@ 2/27 10:30 PM
#1 Chapman (20-5, 14-2) (72)
#3 Redlands (19-6, 12-4) (72)
@ 2/27 10:30 PM

#2 Claremont-Mudd-Scripps (23-3, 14-2) (78)
@ 3/1 8 PM
#1 Chapman (21-5, 14-2) (60)
Chapman gets added to the bubble.
The 4 teams in the Liberty league are set with the order still at the top to be decided. Only RIT at #4 is locked in their seed, the other 3 teams will be Vassar, St. Lawrence & William Smith. Whoever wins Friday night's Vassar/St. Lawrence game will be the top seed. William Smith can't finish first, but they'll finish second if either Vassar or St. Lawrence have an 0-2 weekend (Vassar plays @ St. Lawrence and @ Clarkson, while St. Lawrence plays Vassar & Bard at home).
St. Lawrence beats Vassar 75-66 to clinch the 1 seed and a matchup with RIT in the semifinals.
Vassar will be the 2 seed if they win @ Clarkson, and William Smith gets the 3 seed. If Clarkson beats Vassar, William Smith is the 2 seed and Vassar is the 3.
Official Liberty League tournament:
#3 William Smith (19-6, 12-4) (70)
@ 2/26 6 PM
#2 Vassar (20-5, 13-3) (81)
#4 RIT (14-11, 10-6) (52)
@ 2/26 7 PM
#1 St. Lawrence (18-7, 14-2) (65)
#2 Vassar (21-5, 13-3) (64)
@ 3/1 3 PM
#1 St. Lawrence (19-7, 14-2) (60)
1 bid league now. Vassar was the only team ranked (#2 in the East), and probably would have made it anyways since they would've been first on the board from the East.

In the IIAC, 5 of the 6 teams are set. Loras has won the conference and will get every game in the conference at home. The final spot in the 6 team field will come down to Buena Vista & Central. First round is Tuesday, February 25, semifinals Thursday the 27, and finals are March 1 all on the campus site of the highest seed.

#2 Coe (15-10, 9-4) (57)

#1 Loras (18-7, 12-1) (81)
Loras will be the lone team in the NCAAs.
In the Empire 8, both Hartwick & Ithaca have clinched spots in the field. The final 2 teams in the field come down to Stevens/Elmira/and St. John Fisher. A Stevens win over Elmira Friday gets them in.
In the Landmark, Catholic, Scranton & Moravian have all clinched spots. Scranton is the #1 seed, the winner of Catholic/Moravian Saturday will be the 2 seed with the loser falling to 3, and the Drew/Juniata winner Saturday will round out the field with the 4 seed.
Empire 8: Ithaca beat out Hartwick due to schedule SOS to claim the 1 seed and host all games.
#2 Hartwick (21-4, 13-1) (52)

#3 Stevens (18-8, 9-5) (51)
@ 3/1 4 PM
#1 Ithaca (22-4, 13-1) (63)
Think Hartwick will end up in the NCAAs along with Ithaca since they'll be the first team from the East on the board after Ithaca (#1) and Vassar (#2) won the auto bids.
Landmark:
#4 Juniata (14-11, 7-7) (53)

Moravian & Catholic will both be sweating it out the next few days. Doubt both make it, but 1 of them could make it.

2/3 Concordia Morehead (20-4, 18-3)
2/3 St. Thomas (20-4, 18-3)

Final Seed will be between Gustavus Adolphus, St. Benedict, and Augsburg. Gustavus leads St. Benedict and Augsburg by a game.

St. Thomas vs St. Benedict's
Concordia Morehead vs Hamline
Gustavus Aldophus vs St. Catherine's
GNAC:
Emmanuel is the 1 seed, St. Joseph's (ME) is the 2 seed, Rivier is the 3 seed, and Suffolk is the 4 seed. All of those teams will be hosting quarterfinal games. St. Joseph's (CT) and Johnson & Wales have locked up spots in the 8 team tournament as well. Lasell, Norwich, and Anna Maria are fighting for the last 3 spots with Lasell a game up on both of them.
GNAC tournament:
#8 Norwich (13-12, 5-7) (84)
@ 2/25 7 PM
#1 Emmanuel (19-6, 11-0) (78 [Overtime]). May be the most surprising result this week. Emmanuel was 80-4 in conference games since the start of the 2006 season, and hadn't lost to a conference opponent since February 9, 2010 a span of 48 GNAC games. The Saints also went 36-0 vs. the league the last 3 years.
#7 Lasell (12-13, 5-6) (50)

#2 St. Joseph's (ME) (22-5, 10-1) (63)
Norwich's Cinderella run as the 8 seed ends as the Monks of St. Joseph advance to the NCAAs as the GNAC champion.
SUYNAC:
The 6 teams in the SUNYAC tournament are: Buffalo, Plattsburgh, Geneseo, Oneonta, Cortland & Fredonia with order still to be decided. The winner of Buffalo/Plattsburgh on Saturday afternoon wins the 1 seed.

@ 3/1 4 PM
#1 Plattsburgh State (21-5, 15-3) (57)
Plattsburgh was the only team in the Regional rankings, but even I doubt they would have gotten a bid out of the East.
7 of the 8 teams are set in the CCC, with the Roger Williams/UNE winner winning the 1 seed. Final spot in the 8 team field will come down to Eastern Naz or Wentworth.
Commonwealth Coast: All games at the higher seeds:

Roger Williams was 6th in New England I believe. They'll either be the last one off the table from New England, or the team remaining on the table from New England when all selections are made. Tough to say for now.

#4 Hunter (16-11, 10-6) (54)

#2 Baruch (20-7, 13-3) (70)
Baruch wins the auto bid out of the CUNYAC. This was going to be a 1 bid league regardless, so no harm done here.
HCAC will finalize things for it's tournament today... Transylvania has locked up the #1 seed and will host the semis (2/28) and finals (3/1)... Hanover has locked up the #2 seed and will also get a bye.
Franklin currently has a 1 game lead for the 3 seed over both Bluffton and Manchester. Those teams are guaranteed the 3-5 seeds. Meanwhile Earlham, Defiance, and Rose-Hulman are all tied for the 6th and final spot.

CCIW. All games @ the 1 seed Carthage:

#1 Carthage (23-3, 13-1) (63)
Carthage was a lock, and both IWU & Wheaton are on the bubble. I think IWU will join Carthage in the NCAAs.
Note: IWU has a makeup game on Tuesday night vs. North Park, but that game will have no effect on their current standing. I'll wait to input their record at the conclusion of that game.

#4 Capital (18-8, 13-5) (67)
@ 3/1 3 PM
#3 Ohio Northern (23-4, 14-4) (50)
Capital wasn't getting a pool C, so they stole a spot from someone. This is a tough league to peg. I think they'll get at least 1 pool C, and possibly 2, but I can't see them getting 3 teams in the field, so that means at least 1 of John Carroll, Ohio Northern & Baldwin-Wallace won't be playing next weekend. I think ONU gets 1 spot and the JC gets the other.

After losing to Hopkins twice during the season, they beat them when it counted the most. Haverford is probably the lone team in the field.

Whitewater, who is a lock for the NCAAs will join Oshkosh in the tournament. Stevens Point likely is on the wrong side of the bubble, and don't think any events on Sunday will change that.

So if Superior completes the Cinderella thing and wins the WIAC, do both Whitewater and Oshkosh get in as Pool C's? I think Whitewater is a lock. Oshkosh is going to be a REALLY interesting conversation if they can't win the automatic bid.
NCAC updated through the semifinals. DePauw to host Denison in the championship Saturday. DePauw smoked 'em at Greencastle in early January, 63-38; three weeks later the Tigers won again, at Granville, by 10.
Friday's tournaments updated.

Quarterfinals Tuesday at higher seed:
#8 Wooster 40 at #1 DePauw 71
#7 Oberlin 72 at #2 Ohio Wesleyan 81
#6 Allegheny 56 at #3 Denison 60
#5 Wittenberg 58 at #4 Kenyon 78
Semifinals Friday at DePauw.
Denison 67 vs. OWU 57
Kenyon 62 at DePauw 88
Finals Saturday at DePauw
Denison 41 at DePauw 69
Average MOV for the Tigers: 28.3. That's what happens when you have the audacity to beat them in the final game of the regular season.
Whitworth hands Whitman their first loss of the season 68-65 to win the NWC auto bid and send 3 NWC teams to the tournament. Whitworth is a lock to go, George Fox should be there as well, but Whitman was going to be squarely on the bubble if they lost.
Still have to think that, despite Whitman's loss tonight, that Concordia-Moorhead is still in. They'd better be or I'll raise hell come Monday.
Saturday's tournaments updated.
Sundays updated, so that concludes it.
The LEC tournament sends all 8 teams to the playoffs and goes down as follows:
Quarterfinals Tuesday, February 24 at higher seeds
Semifinals and finals Friday, February 27-Saturday, February 28 at the highest seed remaining after the quarterfinals.
As it stands now Plymouth is locked into the #8 seed and will be playing on the road of the regular season champion which will all but likely come down to whoever wins the Eastern Connecticut/ UMass-Dartmouth game on Saturday afternoon.
After Tuesday's play:
RI College is locked into the 7 seed and Eastern Connecticut/UMass-Dartmouth will be going 1/2 in some order. Dartmouth is a game up, but Eastern Connecticut holds the tiebreaker should they finish tied.
Onto the top 4 (top 4 host quarterfinals games) only Eastern Connecticut and Dartmouth have guaranteed home playoff games while Western Connecticut will join RIC (#7) and Plymouth (#8) in playing road games in the quarterfinals but Western Connecticut can finish either 5th or 6th depending on results. As for the other 3 teams: UMass-Boston, Southern Maine and Keene state: Boston and USM currently hold down the final 2 spots (3 & 4 respectively) 1 game ahead of Keene state who currently sits in 5th.....however Keene owns the tiebreaker over BOTH Boston and Southern Maine, so Keene can sneak in the back door and steal a home quarterfinal game if they win and 1 of Boston or USM loses. All 3 teams can still finish in a 3 way tie for 3rd at 8-6. In that case Keene would get the 3rd seed (they would be 1-1 against Eastern Connecticut while the other 2 would be 0-2 each), USM would get the 4 seed (they'd have more conference road wins then Boston) and Boston would end up 5th.
In Saturday's action:
Keene topples first place Dartmouth; Eastern Connecticut beats USM; and Boston over Western in the 3 games that were still meaningfull today. The other game was Plymouth vs. RIC both both teams were already locked in @ #8 & #7 respectively. With those results today, that set's up the LEC tournament as follows:
#8 Plymouth State (6-19, 0-14) (37)
@ 2/24 5:30
#1 Eastern Connecticut (17-8, 10-4) (77)
#7 RI College (7-18, 5-9) (49)
@ 2/24 5:30
#2 UMass-Dartmouth (18-7, 10-4) (67)
#6 Western Connecticut (16-9, 6-8) (48)
@ 2/24 7:00
#3 UMass-Boston (17-8, 9-5) (56)
#5 Southern Maine (12-13, 8-6) (46)
@ 2/24 5:30
#4 Keene State (16-9, 8-6) (63)
#4 Keene State (17-9, 8-6)
@ 2/28 5 PM
#1 Eastern Connecticut (18-8, 10-4). Season series was tied 1-1 with the road team winning both games. Keene held Eastern to 35 points overall and 12 in the second half last time they played.
#2 UMass-Dartmouth (19-7, 10-4)
vs. 2/28 7:30 PM
#3 UMass-Boston (18-8, 9-5). Season series was tied 1-1 with the home team winning both games. Last time they played Boston won by 2 on a 3 pointer at the buzzer.
Dartmouth is #7 in Northeast. IF UNE (#5), AND Westfield (#6) both win the AQs Saturday I think Dartmouth will be in since the NESCAC trio will clear fairly quickly and if those 2 favorites win their conferences Dartmouth would be next up and I think they'll get in. Eastern at #10 has no chance and NEEDS to win the auto bid as they'll get blocked by Roger Williams at #9 who is not making the field.
Dartmouth was 1-1 against Boston, whereabouts Eastern was 2-0, so that's why Eastern gets the 1 seed; Keene was 2-2 against Eastern & Dartmouth while Southern Maine was 1-3 that's how Keene ended up 4th with the final quarterfinal game. Dartmouth, Keene & Eastern all have double headers with the men's teams who will also open at home so those 3 start at 5:30 while Boston hosts a single game that's why that game starts at 7 PM
Quaterfinal games are Tuesday, February 24 at higher seeds. Semifinals and finals are Friday, February 27-Saturday, February 28 at the site of the highest remaining seed after the quarterfinals. Since the Eastern Connecticut men also have the #1 seed, if both the men and the women win on Tuesday, I believe the women's semifinal games will be at 1 PM & 3 PM Friday; if one or both lose, the semifinals will be at 5:30 & 7:30 PM Friday.
List of conference's that have conference tournaments. I'll be out of town the weekend of 2/28 for a wedding, when most of the conference finals take place, but as long as nobody minds most of the updates coming 1 or 2 days late, I'll try to update most of the conferences this year.

In fact, Puget Sound, Whitworth, and Whitman could finish in a 3-way tie with 12-4 conference records if Whitman beats UPS and UPS beats Whitworth. They would all have 1-1 records against each other and identical records against every other team in the conference. I believe in that case the tie will be broken by a pre-season drawing to determine seeds 2-4.
Puget Sound wins at home against Whitman and gets the sweep (2-0). Whitman is now the #4 seed in the NWC and will play at George Fox on February 26.
Whitworth plays at Puget Sound today to finish the regular season. The winner will be the #2 seed and host the loser on the 26th. So they will play each other twice in less than a week.

Brooklyn will be stuck behind the Stockton/Montclair loser AND the Eastern/Florham loser. Baruch even would've had a hard time getting a pool C out of the east as they likely would've been stuck behind the same teams, and there's no way Brooklyn gets one.

#1 Texas-Tyler (26-1, 17-3)
Texas-Tyler is a lock for the tournament, Texas-Dallas was #5 in the South last week. Whether or not they jump #4 Randolph-Macon who lost in the ODAC quarterfinals, they should be no worse than 2nd on the board if both Eastern Mennonite (#2) and Maryville (#3) win the AQs from their conferences. I say both teams get in regardless of who wins but Dallas is on more thin ice than Tyler is.

UNE is #5 in Northeast and after Bowdoin/Tufts/Williams/Amherst go which should be fairly quickly, they'll be next up for selection so they are probably safe. Curry is unranked and needs to win to get in.

CCIW semifinals-Finals Friday, February 27-Saturday, February 28 @ Wheaton College
Wheaton (22-3, 12-2) is the 1 seed and North Central (21-4, 10-4) is the 2 seed. if Elmhurst beats Illinois Wesleyan they are the 3 seed and Carthage is the 4 seed; If Illinois Wesleyan wins Carthage is the 3 seed and Elmhurst is the 4 seed
#2 North Central (IL) (21-4, 10-4) (89)

#1 Wheaton (IL) (23-3, 10-4)
Wheaton is #1 in the central; North Central is #3. Both should be relatively safe even more so if Wash U wins the UAA AQ so it'll bump North Central to the first Central team off the board.

#1 Ithaca (22-4, 15-1)
Ithaca is #3 in the East, St. John Fisher is #5 and Stevens was #4. SJF will likely jump Stevens in that elimination game and probably has to beat Ithaca to get in. I think Ithaca will still get in with a loss.

#5 Wartburg (17-10, 6-8)
@ 2/28 5 PM
#2 Luther (21-5, 10-4)
Luther was 6th in the West, Dubuque was 8th. Dubuque isn't getting in and I doubt Luther gets in either, so that leaves the IIAC a 1 bid league.
MASCAC first round Tuesday, February 24, semifinals Thursday, February 26, finals February 28 all at the higher seeds:
#5 Fitchburg (13-11, 4-8) (47)
@ 2/24 7 PM
#4 Framingham (15-8, 7-5) (60)
Winner goes to #1 Westfield State (21-4, 12-0) 2/26 5:30 PM
#3 Worcester (16-9, 7-5) (78)
vs. 2/24 7 PM (@ Clark)
#6 Salem State (5-20, 3-9) (63)
Winner goes to #2 Bridgewater State (14-10, 8-4) 2/26 5:30 PM
#3 Worcester (17-9, 7-5) (45)
@ 2/26 5:30 PM
#2 Bridgewater State (14-10, 8-4) (59)
#4 Framingham (16-8, 7-5) (65)
@ 2/26 5:30 PM
#1 Westfield (21-4, 12-0) (79)
#2 Bridgewater (15-10, 8-4)
@ 2/28 12 noon
#1 Westfield (22-4, 12-0)
Bridgewater is unranked so they need to win. Westfield is #6 in New England right around that cutoff. However whichever 3 of Tufts/Bowdoin/Amherst/and Williams don't win the NESCAC will get selected pretty early and if UNE wins the CCC they'll be next up. If UNE wins the CCC they get in; if Curry beats them, Westfield is left out.
Commonwealth, play in game Monday, February 23, semifinals Wednesday, February 25, finals Saturday, February 28. All games @ the higher seed:
#5 Arcadia (12-13, 8-8) (63)
@ 2/23 7 PM
#4 Lebanon Valley (17-8, 8-8) (82)
Winner plays @ #1 Stevenson (21-3, 15-1) 2/25. #3 Messiah (13-12, 9-7) and #2 Albright (19-6, 13-3) go straight to the semifinals
#3 Messiah (13-12, 9-7) (42)

#2 Albright (19-6, 13-3) (59)
#4 Lebanon Valley (18-8, 8-8) (47)
@ 2/25 6 PM

#2 Albright (20-6, 13-3)
@ 2/28 4 PM
#1 Stevenson (22-3, 15-1)
Stevenson is #3 in the Mid Atlantic so they are on ice even though I think they get in. Albright is #6 behind McDaniel (#4) and Muhlenberg (#5) playing in the Centennial. Doubt the Mid Atlantic gets more than 2, but if Scranton (#1) Salisbury (#2) win their conference AQs Albright would be second up, but I don't think it'll be enough.
Freedom, semifinals Wednesday, February 25, championship Saturday, February 28. Higher seed hosts all games:
#3 DeSales (14-11, 8-6) (63)
@ 2/25 7 PM
#2 Eastern (21-4, 13-1) (72)
#4 Delaware Valley (13-12, 8-6) (49)
@ 2/25 7 PM
#1 FDU-Florham (24-1, 13-1) (79)
#2 Eastern (22-4, 13-1)
@ 2/28 1 PM
#1 FDU-Florham (25-1, 13-1)
Florham is #2 in Atlantic, Eastern is #5. The problem I see for Eastern is that Richard Stockton (#4) looks like the blocker for the rest of the region, so Eastern's best case scenario is for Stockton to beat Montclair since Montclair will be easily selected and that opens up the rest of the region. They better be big fans of Cabrini (#3) as well.
Landmark semifinals Wednesday, February 25, championship Saturday, February 28. Higher seeds host throughout:
Scranton (23-2, 15-1) is the 1 seed, Catholic (17-8, 11-5) is the 2 seed, Elizabethtown (18-6, 11-5) is the 3 seed.
#4 Susquehanna (17-8, 10-6) (49)
@ 2/25 5:30 PM
#1 Scranton (23-2, 15-1) (92)
#3 Elizabethtown (18-6, 11-5) (47)
@ 2/25 5:30 PM
#2 Catholic (17-8, 11-5) (52)
#2 Catholic (18-8, 11-5)
@ 2/28 4 PM
#1 Scranton (24-2, 15-1)
Catholic is unranked, Scranton is #1 in Mid Atlantic. Scranton is getting selected easily, so if Scranton loses, this becomes a 2 bid league.

Scranton (23-2, 15-1) is the 1 seed, Catholic (17-8, 11-5) is the 2 seed, Elizabethtown (18-6, 11-5) is the 3 seed. Moravian will get the 4th seed if they beat Junaita, if not then the 4th seed goes to Susquehanna
Susquehanna is the 4th seed, even if Moravian wins & finishes in a tie. After a split in the head-to-head, Susquehanna wins by virtue of 2 wins over Catholic, the 2nd seed. Landmark standings incorrectly list E-town as 2nd seed, but Catholic wins that tie by virtue of win over Scranton.

Thanks! I don't know how I overlooked that one!
MIAA, semifinals 2/25, finals 2/28 all games @ higher seeds:
#4 Olivet (14-11, 9-7) (54)

#2 Hope (23-3, 14-2)
@ 2/28 3 PM
#1 Calvin (26-0, 16-0)
Calvin's #2 in the Great Lakes, Hope checks in at #6. Calvin's safe, Hope is a little more dicey as they are already behind John Carroll (#4) and DePauw (#3) who both suffered home semifinal loses, but in the end I think both will get in.
MIAC, first round 2/24, semifinals 2/26 final 2/28. All games at the highest seed:

#4 Babson (18-8, 12-4)
@ 2/28 1 PM
#1 Springfield (19-6, 14-2)
#2 Wheaton (MA) (19-7, 13-3)
vs. 2/28 3:30 PM
#3 Coast Guard (19-7, 12-4)
Babson, Wheaton and Coast Guard are unranked while Springfield checks in at #8. Once the NESCAC trio clears if all the other favorites win their conferences it maybe good enough to sneak in as one of the last teams in. However if ANY of UNE (#5), Westfield (#6) OR Dartmouth (#7 with 2 games left) lose than Springfield is done.
NECC, opening round 2/24 @ campus sites; semifinals-finals 2/27-2/28 @ Regis (MA):

I suppose stranger things have happened, but I can't recall many.
UMass-Boston & UMass-Dartmouth, both of whom normally compete for last in the LEC both have home quarterfinal games as the 2 & 3 seed, that's only the second time Boston has hosted a quarterfinal game and only the 7th or 8th time Dartmouth has played at home; meanwhile Southern Maine who is the benchmark for success in the conference has to open on the road as the 5 seed....I believe the first time they have played a true road game in the conference tournament before the semifinals. So, yes at least in the LEC it's been 1 weird thing after another this year.
That's it for tonight! I'll add more tomorrow.
North Atlantic opening round 2/24 @ campus sites, semifinals-finals 2/27-2/28 @ Castleton:

#1 Castleton State (22-4, 17-1)
Castleton is #12 in the Northeast but not enough to make a dent with a pool C bid as they will be behind at the least: Roger Williams (#9, already lost in conference tourney), UMass-Dartmouth (#7)/ Eastern Connecticut (#10) both have the semifinals of the LEC tournament and Norwich (#11, lost in conference tourney). Will be a 1 bid league regardless of who wins.
North Coast quarterfinals 2/24 @ campus sites; semifinals-finals 2/27-2/28 @ highest seed remaining after the quarterfinals:

#2 Wittenberg (22-6, 12-4)
vs. 2/28 4 PM

This just became a 2 bid league as neither Ohio Wesleyan or Wittenberg were ranked while DePauw is a shoe-in for the tourney sitting at #3 in the Great Lakes. Somewhere, a bubble just popped!
President's, first round 2/23 @ campus sites, second round 2/25 @ campus sites, semifinals-finals 2/27-2/28 @ Thomas More:

#2 Saint Vincent (22-4, 15-3)
@ 2/28 5 PM
#1 Thomas More (26-0, 18-0)
Thomas More is a shoe-in for the NCAAs; St. Vincent is at #8 in the Great Lakes and likely gets blocked by either Hope (#6) or Ohio Northern (#7).
SUNYAC first round 2/24 @ campus sites, semifinals-finals 2/27-2/28 @ Geneseo:

#1 Geneseo (21-4, 17-1) (62)
#2 Cortland (21-5, 14-4)
@ 2/28 4 PM
#1 Geneseo (22-4, 17-1)
Geneseo is #1 in the East so they should be good; Cortland is at #6. Too far down the list and they'll get blocked by one of the E8 teams either St. John Fisher (#5) or Stevens (#4).

#7 Emory & Henry (15-12, 8-8)
vs. 2/28 8 PM
#3 Lynchburg (18-8, 12-4)
Eastern Mennonite is 2nd in the South so they should be OK, Randolph-Macon is #4 they may or may not get passed by Texas-Dallas (#5) but I think they are still in even after losing in the quarters. Lynchburg is at #7 and needs to win the tournament to get in.

#4 Capital (17-10, 11-7)
@ 2/28 3 PM
#3 Baldwin-Wallace (21-6, 14-4)
Unlike last year where the OAC sent 3 pool C teams I don't think they'll be as fortunate this year as in my opinion they'll be lucky if they send 2 pool C teams. John Carroll (#4) is safe; Ohio Northern (#7) not so much. If they do indeed get selected it's gonna be one of the last few teams in. Baldwin-Wallace at #9 in the Great Lakes won't be receiving a pool C selection this year and needs to win Saturday to get in. I know it has no bearings on this year but at least all 3 teams that were pool C selections won their first round game last year and Baldwin-Wallace made it all the way to the regional semifinals before falling to eventual national champion FDU-Florham.
NACC Semis are tonight.
#5 Concordia Chicago (16-10) at #1 Wisconsin Lutheran (21-4)

#2 Texas Lutheran (16-8, 11-3)
vs. 2/28 4 PM
#3 Trinity (TX) (21-5, 11-3)
Trinity is #6 in the West. The good news for Trinity?? They lost all the tiebreakers and finished as the 3 seed, get an extra game, and the 2 seed (TLU) has the second best record in the conference. The bad news for Trinity?? Their round 1 opponent was 11-14 and the teams combined record on the other side of the bracket are 25-26. I think they need to win the conference tournament to be safe but if they lose to TLU I think they are definitely out.
That should conclude the list, and here's the women's tourney tracker in case I missed something: http://www.d3hoops.com/seasons/women/2014-15/conference-tournaments/index

#2 Amherst (25-1, 9-1)

#1 Tufts (23-2, 10-0)
In the NCAA picture: Tufts, Amherst & Bowdoin are locks and will be picked up fairly early on; Williams was #5 but they lost twice this week, and Conn College was #9; they did beat Williams but probably too far back to jump ahead of them this week.
Next week we'll have our conference tournament tracker available, just like in the last two years.
NACC tourney field is set. Just waiting on seedings. Top two seeds have byes to the semifinals.
1. Concordia Wisconsin (CUW has the head-to-head tiebreaker over WLC)
2. Wisconsin Lutheran (WLC has the head-to-head tiebreaker over MSOE)
3. MSOE (MSOE has the head-to-head tiebreaker over Aurora)
4. Aurora
5. Lakeland
6. Benedictine
Quarterfinals
#6 Benedictine (15-10, 12-8) at #3 MSOE (18-7, 15-5) Winner faces #2 Wisconsin Lutheran (18-7, 16-4)
#5 Lakeland (14-11, 13-7) at #4 Aurora (15-10, 14-6) Winner faces #1 Concordia Wisconsin (20-5, 17-3)
With how the NACC shook out this year, it could be wider open than in previous years (Wisconsin Lutheran has won the last 5 tournament titles and has won 15 straight NACC Tournament games).

LEC set. I'll update the picture later tonight. All 8 teams in; quarterfinals 2/23 @ the higher seeds; semifinals and finals 2/26-2/27 at the highest remaining seed after the quarterfinals.
#8 Plymouth @ #1 Eastern Connecticut, #7 RI College @ #2 Keene State, #5 UMass-Dartmouth @ #4 Southern Maine. These 3 teams have the men's team hosting as well so these 2 games will begin at 5:30 PM.
#6 UMass-Boston @ #3 Western Connecticut is just playing a single game after the Western men completely screwed the pooch losing to a 4 win team on Wednesday and now because of it open on the road instead. This game will begin at 7. This was also the same matchup in last's year's tournament (was in Boston) and was also the lone game that wasn't part of a double header. So, since the other 3 games will be about over by the time this one begins, at least the loser will be one of the last 5 teams left playing for the 2nd year in a row!
#8 Plymouth State (6-19, 0-14) (58)

#6 UMass-Boston (14-11, 6-8) (70)

#3 Western Connecticut (16-9, 9-5) (62)
Boston was down 39-22 at halftime and outscored them 48-23 in the 2nd half.
#5 UMass-Dartmouth (18-8, 7-7) (51)
@ 2/26 5 PM
#1 Eastern Connecticut (20-6, 11-3) (67)

Keene is #7, but they are probably going to get blocked by Johnson & Wales, so I wouldn't be surprised to see the Warriors nab the conference's lone bid.

HCAC
Opening round Tuesday:
#1 Bluffton - BYE*
#2 Rose-Hulman - BYE*
#6 Defiance @ #3 Franklin
#5 Mt. St. Joseph @ #4 Transylvania
Friday at Bluffton
6:00pm Bluffton vs. MSJ or Transy
8:00pm RHIT vs. Defiance or Franklin
Saturday
5:00pm Championship
*At the end of the regular season, Bluffton and RHIT were tied at the top (16-2), and Franklin and Transy were tied at 3/4 (14-4). Neither tie could not be broken by the first four tie-breaker steps (head-to-head, performance against the rest of the conference, conference road record, and record against common non-conference opponents), so a coin flip broke the Franklin/Transy tie in favor or Franklin, which in turn broke the Bluffton/RHIT tie in favor of Bluffton (by virtue of Bluffton's sweep of Franklin in the regular season).

NACC Semifinals
2/25
#4 Aurora (16-10) 66 at #1 Concordia Wisconsin (20-6) 63 (Season Series: Tie 1-1)
#6 Benedictine (16-11) 52 at #2 Wisconsin Lutheran (19-7) 70 (Season Series: WLC 2-0)
Again the NACC throws a curveball as Concordia Wisconsin (#6 in the Central Region) falls to fourth seeded Aurora. That means Wisconsin Lutheran hosts the NACC Title game for the sixth straight year.

Opening round Tuesday:
#1 Bluffton - BYE*
#2 Rose-Hulman - BYE*
#6 Defiance @ #3 Franklin
#5 Mt. St. Joseph @ #4 Transylvania
Friday at Bluffton
6:00pm Bluffton vs. MSJ or Transy
8:00pm RHIT vs. Defiance or Franklin
Saturday
5:00pm Championship
*At the end of the regular season, Bluffton and RHIT were tied at the top (16-2), and Franklin and Transy were tied at 3/4 (14-4). Neither tie could not be broken by the first four tie-breaker steps (head-to-head, performance against the rest of the conference, conference road record, and record against common non-conference opponents), so a coin flip broke the Franklin/Transy tie in favor or Franklin, which in turn broke the Bluffton/RHIT tie in favor of Bluffton (by virtue of Bluffton's sweep of Franklin in the regular season).
Final
Bluffton (25-2) 52
RHIT (23-4) 46

Keene is #7, but they are probably going to get blocked by Johnson & Wales, so I wouldn't be surprised to see the Warriors nab the conference's lone bid.
2017:
The NESCAC has 1 game remaining in its regular season (Bates @ Williams Sunday) but the 8 teams are set for the conference tournament. Amherst (1 seed), Tufts (2 seed), Bowdoin (3 seed) and Middlebury (4 seed) are locked into their respective seeds while the 5 to 8 seeds will be determined by Sunday's game, but no matter who wins Conn College, Colby, Bates, and Williams will be joining those first 4 in the quest to grab the pool A bid. Quarterfinals are Saturday, February 18 at the higher seeds; Semifinals and finals are Saturday-Sunday 2/25-2/26 at the highest seeding remaining after the quarterfinals....aka at Amherst.

vs. 2/25 4:00 PM
#3 Bowdoin (21-3, 8-2) ()
Semifinals 2/25 at the highest remaining seed at the conclusion of semifinal play
Amherst, Bowdoin & Tufts are absolute locks for the NCAA tournament. Conn College was looking decent (#7 in New England) until they lost twice in Maine over the weekend to Colby & Bowdoin. Now they probably have to make the finals which will mean beating Bowdoin & Tufts. Middlebury (#10 in New England) is in worse shape than Conn College as their quarterfinal opponent (basically .500 Colby) won't do anything to help them, so I figure they have to win the tournament. Williams, Colby & Bates need the automatic bid to get in.
The 1 seed in the Little East has been won by the Eastern Connecticut Warriors for the third straight year. Seeds 2-3 will be Dartmouth & Keene State with an order still to be determined. All 8 teams qualify. Quarterfinals Tuesday, February 21 at higher seeds; semifinals-final Friday-Saturday February 24-25 at the highest seed remaining after the quarterfinals.
Update: LEC tournament field finalized:
#7 Southern Maine (5-20, 4-10)
@ 2/21 5:30
#2 Keene State (18-7, 11-3)
#6 UMass-Boston (9-16, 5-9)

#3 UMass-Dartmouth (21-4, 11-3)
#5 Plymouth State (8-16, 5-9)
@ 2/21 7
#4 Western Connecticut (14-11, 6-8)
#8 RI College (5-20, 2-12)
@ 2/21 5:30
#1 Eastern Connecticut (18-7, 12-2).
For pool C implications: Keene State (#8) needs a lot of favorites to win their pool A's. An Eastern/Dartmouth final will be interesting. Since the last rankings came out, Keene has a win over Eastern Connecticut, is that enough to push Dartmouth back in front of Eastern (Eastern was 5, Dartmouth was 6 last week) even though Eastern has 2 wins head-to-head?? That could be the difference between the LEC getting 1 team to getting 2. They definitely aren't getting 3 teams, but I think they have a pretty good chance of getting 2 teams. IF Keene wins the tournament (beating Dartmouth & Eastern) I think Eastern would be a pool C team; IF Dartmouth beats Keene but loses to Eastern for a 3rd time I think the Corsairs would sneak in as one of the final selections. What's good for both Dartmouth/Eastern is assuming Babson wins the auto qualifier, Bowdoin, Tufts, Amherst whichever 2 don't win the NESCAC A should be off the board fairly quickly (probably within the first 4 rounds: if Bowdoin wins the pool A, Amherst & Tufts will likely be 1 & 2 off the board) which will put the LEC team on the board from rounds 3 and on which'll help their chances of getting multiple teams. Of course, that's assuming all favorites win which NEVER happens!
The Division III season has officially entered "Crunch Time." Regular season schedules are wrapping up, conference tournaments are about to begin, teams are jockeying for conference position or trying to win home-court advantage. And it is all happening the uncertainty of whether NCAA tournament berths are available for a lot of teams.
On Thursday night's Hoopsville (http://www.d3hoopsville.com), Dave McHugh not only takes another look at this week's Regional Rankings, but also tries to read the tea leaves. He also chats with four teams that all still have something to play for. Whether it is to better position themselves in the eyes of the NCAA committees or just to turn more heads in their conference tournament, these teams are still pushing to continue their seasons.
Hoopsville is presented by D3hoops.com and airs from the WBCA/NABC Studio starting at 7:00 PM ET LIVE. You can watch the show on the official show page here: http://www.d3hoops.com/hoopsville/archives/2016-17/feb16 ... or you can watch the live simulcast on Facebook Live (http://www.facebook.com/Hoopsville). If you miss the show, you can catch-up on Demand or listen to the podcasts (which will be uploaded at the conclusion of the show).
A reminder the Thursday edition of Hoopsville primarily covers the East, Mid-Atlantic, Great Lakes, and West regions, but we will answer any questions about all of Division III throughout the show. You can also send your questions to the show and have them featured on the Hoopsville Mailbag segment. Email them to hoopsville@d3hoops.com.
And please consider helping Hoopsville stay on the air like you might help your public television station.
