Not currently a DIII but used to be but could be relevant? Saw this article on Tuscaloosa News website http://www.tuscaloosanews.com/article/20150319/NEWS/150319538?p=1&tc=pg (http://www.tuscaloosanews.com/article/20150319/NEWS/150319538?p=1&tc=pg) but don't see anything about it anywhere on the school's regular or athletic websites and schedules that I looked at still have non-conference games on them. Not sure what's up there but of course the Tuscaloosa News isn't known for 100% accuracy in their reporting either so who knows? Wonder if any other schools are thinking of doing anything like this.

Stillman dropping all sports except men's and women's basketball at end of school year. Going to NAIA. Sad.

Can they keep the doors open?
For the few people around here that care that is the big question. I haven't found anyone with any useful knowledge. B-SC and Samford have both survived some tough times in the last 10-15 years and come out stronger. Not sure Stillman has the base to pull that off.
It's hard to tell how dire the situation really is. I don't find anything about any current issues with SACS accreditation so maybe there's still hope for them to turn things around.
