So, we have our first conference tournament set for the 2016 season: Pat, feel free to start a new topic for this year if you want!
NESCAC (first round @ higher seeds 2/20; semifinals and finals at the highest seed remaining after the quarterfinals 2/27-2/28):
#8 Colby (16-8, 4-6) (60)
@ 2/20 3 PM
#1 Trinity (CT) (18-6, 9-1) (71)
#6 Williams (15-9, 5-5) (71)
@ 2/20 4 PM
#3 Tufts (19-5, 7-3) (77)
#7 Bowdoin (12-10, 4-6) (76)
@ 2/20 4 PM
#2 Amherst (20-4, 8-2) (83)
#5 Wesleyan (18-6, 5-5) (74)
@ 2/20 3 PM
#4 Middlebury (14-10, 6-4) (86)
Semifinals & finals 2/27-2/28 @ Trinity:
#4 Middlebury (15-10, 6-4) (70)
@ 2/27 2 PM
#1 Trinity (CT) (19-6, 9-1) (58)
#2 Amherst (21-4, 8-2) (86)
vs. 2/27 4 PM
#3 Tufts (20-5, 7-3) (83)
#4 Middlebury (16-10, 6-4)
vs. 2/28 12 PM
#2 Amherst (22-4, 8-2)
Trinity & Amherst are locks, and Tufts is almost a lock as well. Middlebury isn't getting a pool C, so, so far bubble teams are still OK. If Middlebury wins Sunday however...
Speaking of, Pat, is this year's conference tourney tracker the same link as last year? I bookmarked last year's link...thanks!
Conference tourneys also start this week for the CUNY (Thursday, 2/18) and the NJAC (Saturday, 2/20).
The CUNY has final regular season games today, 2/16, and the NJAC finishes up tomorrow, 2/17... Tourney Brackets will be finalized when those games are completed....
The CUNY is early this year I didn't think they started the tourney until the Saturday the NJAC and CAC start the tourney's.

The CUNY (or CUNYAC) site, the Championship schedule page,
shows the tourney starts Thursday the 18th...
They do run there tourney differently than anyone else, in that 7 and 8 play 5 and 6 on Thursday, winners play 3 and 4 on Saturday the 20th, and semis and finals are following week... they stretch it to 4 nights of play rather than the normal 3....

Well, the year in the URL will change but otherwise, yes.
Not to take anything away from 7express' efforts, but doesn't Pat's Tournament Tracker page do the same thing?
http://www.d3hoops.com/seasons/men/2015-16/conference-tournaments/index
Pretty much but I can do the dirty work for Pat and crew and they can just copy from here ;D

Also, let's hope I don't fracture my wrist again, and hopefully I can actually update them this year, but I don't think I can take on 30 again :(

Yes... two games on Thursday... at #5 and #6 seeds home courts... then Saturday at #3 and #4 seeds home courts... then next week at a neutral court (CCNY).
For purposes of updating the tracker, the NACC cut its tournament to the top 6 and it doesn't start until the 24th. (The first games showing on the page are still regular season games yet.)

Also, with a page on d3boards.com essentially duplicating one on d3hoops.com, I wonder if driving traffic from the latter site to the former has an adverse effect on ad rates and such. (I had the same thought when I saw the latest men's poll duplicated
in toto in a post elsewhere on this site.) I'm not trying to be a pr¡ck about it, just genuinely curious.
NJAC tournament is set. The first round has 1 seed NJCU and 2 seed Stockton with byes, 5 TCNJ at 4 Ramapo and 6 WPU at 3 Rutgers Newark.
Link to NJAC website bracket page.

The road to the SUNYAC championship will go through Plattsburgh as the Cardinals clinched the top seed tonight with a 93-62 win over Potsdam State. The Cardinals will receive a first round bye and host the semifinals and finals on February 26th and 27th. Seeds 2 thru 6 will be decided by this weekend's games.
6 teams vying for 5 remaining spots.
Ryan Stoppable:
Thanks for the correction. I'll make that fix tonight or, if I forget, when the NACC field is set. We'll post this page publicly on Monday since almost all the playoff fields will be set at that point.
Hopefan:
Yeah, I noticed that last night. The CUNYAC went to the same double bye system that the OAC used in prior years. It's a pain to describe to the outside world but it makes sense as far as protecting your top teams from taking a loss that would hurt them from an at-large perspective. The CUNYAC has had its top seed miss the NCAA tournament because of an upset loss in the conference tournament in recent history. So maybe they are reacting to that and providing a bigger incentive for excellence throughout the regular season.
I'm a little surprised more conferences don't change their tournament format or just have smaller playoff fields to give their best teams a better chance of making the tournament and representing their conference. Personally I like the MAC/CCIW/SCIAC/lots of other conferences approach -- make the playoffs a four-team thing so there's some exclusivity to it. Then I again I also like the Ivy/UAA structure where the top team gets the AQ and that's it. Takes away from some of the fun though.
Dave:
Good question. I don't know the answer but my guess is that people who find this page will still visit the one on the main page so we'll get double clicks. But I know there are some people who use the message boards without using the main site.
One other thought -- check out the Liberty League, MAC Commonwealth and SCIAC for musical chairs type races where there are lots of teams fighting for few spots.

At highest remaining seed.
MASCAC is set. I'll update later tonight.
MASCAC: top 6 in, top 2 bye's to the semifinals, higher seed hosts throughout. With the conference only having 7 teams I don't understand why they don't take all 7, would it be that difficult to play a play in game between #6 & #7 on Monday night??
#4 Worcester (16-9, 8-4) (90)
vs. 2/23 7 PM (@ Assumption College)
#5 Westfield (10-15, 4-8) (91 [overtime])

This is another 1 bid league as the Bearcats will be the President's lone member in the field.

Staten Island & Lehman are probably on the wrong side of the bubble, so the Bulldogs should get the lone bid out of this league.

In the SUNYAC one, SUNY Geneseo looks to be advanced to every round already :P. I think this may be a function of Geneseo inputting the SUNYAC tournament games on their schedule before the season began.
True, schools or conferences that use Presto have their schedule automatically synched with ours (or the other way around). Some schools list every possible game through the national championship. I admire their optimism. :)

This is now live for the men. We'll post the women's tomorrow.
Corrections welcome.

MIAA has changed slightly. You currently have it descibred as this: "Semifinals at higher seeds, championship at higher remaining seed."
Beginning this year all games are hosted by the #1 seed. This is true for both men and women. With Hope being the #1 seed in both cases, we end up with the following:
Friday
#2 Calvin vs #3 Trine - women - 1pm
#2 Alma vs #3 Albion - men - 3pm
#1 Hope vs #4 Olivet - women - 5:30pm
#1 Hope vs #4 Trine - men - 7:30 pm
Saturday
Womens championship - 5pm
Mens championship - 8pm
I don't believe the Greater Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC) has been posted on here yet so here we go.......
Quarterfinals - Tuesday, February 23
Game 1: #8 Saint Joseph's Maine at #1 Johnson & Wales - 7:30 PM
Game 2: #5 Emmanuel at #4 Anna Maria - 7:00 PM
Game 3: #6 Mount Ida at #3 Albertus Magnus - 7:00 PM
Game 4: #7 Suffolk at #2 Lasell - 7:00 PM
Semifinals - Thursday, February 25
Game 5: Game 1 winner vs. Game 2 winner
Game 6: Game 3 winner vs. Game 4 winner
Championship - Saturday, February 27
Game 7: Game 5 winner vs. Game 6 winner
All games in the GNAC tournament are hosted by higher seed remaining
Good luck to everyone in their respected tournaments as the post season progresses!
Thanks, Flying Dutch Fan. I'll fix that.

I believe Brooklyn was the first ticket punched to the dance. Lehman and Staten Island were both in the RR's last week I believe, but I think Brooklyn is the only CUNY team going dancing.

So, we have our first conference tournament set for the 2016 season: Pat, feel free to start a new topic for this year if you want!
NESCAC (first round @ higher seeds 2/20; semifinals and finals at the highest seed remaining after the quarterfinals 2/27-2/28):
#8 Colby (16-8, 4-6) (60)
@ 2/20 3 PM
#1 Trinity (CT) (18-6, 9-1) (71)
#6 Williams (15-9, 5-5) (71)
@ 2/20 4 PM
#3 Tufts (19-5, 7-3) (77)
#7 Bowdoin (12-10, 4-6) (76)
@ 2/20 4 PM
#2 Amherst (20-4, 8-2) (83)
#5 Wesleyan (18-6, 5-5) (74)
@ 2/20 3 PM
#4 Middlebury (14-10, 6-4) (86)
Semifinals & finals 2/27-2/28 @ Trinity:
#4 Middlebury (15-10, 6-4) (70)
@ 2/27 2 PM
#1 Trinity (CT) (19-6, 9-1) (58)
#2 Amherst (21-4, 8-2) (86)
vs. 2/27 4 PM
#3 Tufts (20-5, 7-3) (83)
#4 Middlebury (16-10, 6-4)
vs. 2/28 12 PM
#2 Amherst (22-4, 8-2)
Trinity & Amherst are locks, and Tufts is almost a lock as well. Middlebury isn't getting a pool C, so, so far bubble teams are still OK. If Middlebury wins Sunday however...

MASCAC is set. I'll update later tonight.
MASCAC: top 6 in, top 2 bye's to the semifinals, higher seed hosts throughout. With the conference only having 7 teams I don't understand why they don't take all 7, would it be that difficult to play a play in game between #6 & #7 on Monday night??
#4 Worcester (16-9, 8-4) (90)
vs. 2/23 7 PM (@ Assumption College)
#5 Westfield (10-15, 4-8) (91 [overtime])
Winner to #1 Fitchburg (16-9, 9-3) 2/25 7 PM
#6 Framingham (5-20, 2-12) (51)
@ 2/23 7:30 PM
#3 Bridgewater (12-12, 8-4) (60)
Winner to #2 Salem (15-10, 9-3) 2/25 7 PM

#3 Bridgewater (13-12, 8-4) (61)
@ 2/25 7 PM
#2 Salem (15-10, 9-3) (72)
#2 Salem (16-10, 9-3) (78)
@ 2/27 1 PM
#1 Fitchburg (17-9, 9-3) (82)
Fitchburg wins the AQ and nobody else is remotely close to sniffing the field. The MASCAC will be a 1 bid league represented by the Fitchburg State Falcons.

This is another 1 bid league as the Bearcats will be the President's lone member in the field.

Staten Island & Lehman are probably on the wrong side of the bubble, so the Bulldogs should get the lone bid out of this league.
Liberty League: Top 4, higher seed hosts throughout
#3 St. Lawrence (13-11, 9-7) (91)
@ 2/24 7 PM
#2 Union (13-11, 10-6) (85)

Nobody else is a serious threat to nab a pool C spot, so the Thoroughbreds will be the conference's lone NCAA team.
