Guessing Widener vs. F&M. Anyone know anything more about this one?
There are two of them, traditionally. 2MAC vs. 3CC and 3MAC vs. 2CC.

Thx Pat - probably means that Muhlenberg's ECAC bid is a hedge since they'll likely end up as CC3 and F&M will be CC2. Same deal for Widener, who's filed for ECACs, but probably opts for this game.
And it's probably not even really an "opt" type scenario. I'd assume they are obliged to the MAC-CC series.
Yeah, it would seem that way.

Just a thought, why didn't it go 2MAC vs. 2CC and 3MAC vs. 3CC?

To make the games less interesting and competitive of course.

Are you claiming the brackets are "rigged"? If they are, what then? We should slit our wrists? Defect to Canada? Become Gaelic football and hurling fans? What? Please advise soonest, if not sooner. :o

I'm not even sure what that means. No, it's clear that they set the games up as a reward to teams that finished higher to give them a better chance of winning. It's a legit way to do things, especially in a tournament setting. But this isn't a tournament. It's an end of season test between neighbors. It would simply be more interesting, and probably more competitive, if they had done it differently.
But be my guest if you want to watch Gaelic football. I really have no opinion on that or hurling or curling or the myriad of other sports that are 100% irrelevant to this discussion.

Actually, I was posting in a bit of tongue-in-cheek mode. Anent Gaelic football/hurling, I think it's an interesting sport to watch. And kindly accept my apologies if my post is "100% irrelevant to this discussion." I meant no offense. At my age, offending folks is far too offensive for my taste. ;)
Your humor just went way over their heads. :)

I didn't get offended but I still don't see the joke? I just didn't understand the post. But it's been a long, long day, so it's probably me.
Albright to host Susquehanna - looking like F&M hosts Widener as the other game, but not officially announced as far as I can see

I think it was done that way to determine the home field team. If you go 2 v 2 and 3 v 3 you have to have another plan as to determining home field. Not that that would be too hard to figure out.

Every other year would have worked just fine...
Right now it's MIS and STE from the MAC with Wilkes looking to be the third team
CC has 3 teams that are 6-3. Will depend on whether or not Mules get a C bid. If they don't they're the 1.
