I can't seem to find the link to the Conference Tournament Tracker on this site. Can someone post the link please.

Indeed, we focused on game coverage last night, but if you read our game coverage, you'd have seen the tracker links in the list of bullets.

DESERVING OF RECOGNITION
I'm sure it's happened before, but not too often...
In the SAA.... an 8 team Conference tourney.... The championship game matches #7 seed Hendrix (3-11, 7-20) vs #8 seed Berry (3-11, 10-17)
Berry beat top seed Centre and #5 seed Birmingham Southern, Hendrix beat #2 seed Sewanee, and #3 seed Oglethorpe....
If Hendrix does win today, they'll have 20 losses going into the tourney. Has a 20 loss D3 team gotten in? If not who has had the most losses?
Praise Hashem!
Yeshiva wins the Skyline AQ, 87-81, over Purchase.
A Shehechiyanu blessing is in order for the Maccabees.
Also, L'chaim!
Update-- I am now mentally doing a Hava Nagila in Yeshiva's honor.😀
As Conference Tourneys get set, posters usually put schedules in on this board..
This is to point out that 4 conference tourneys begin this weekend, when most conferences are playing the final game of the regular season..
Conference Tourneys beginning this Saturday, Feb 16 are the CUNYAC, the NJAC, the NESCAC and the NAC
and in case you haven't quite had time to digest all of Saturday's final regular season results,
Quick starting tourneys on Monday, Feb 18 are in the ODAC, the UMAC, the AEC, and the MACC

Thanks, a lot of good info there.
I believe the WIAC would be in the Central region though, not the West.
Per our page ... we should have it up and running soon. As Ryan indicated, Gordon does a lot of the heavy lifting, though we all try and help out.

I worked most of the afternoon to get the text of the tracker updated with all the new tournament formats across the country. The way the system works, it's easiest to load the teams once they're determined tomorrow. Four conferences begin tournament play tomorrow, so it's a tough call on how and when to make it live.

It is now or never.
The last week of the Division III basketball regular season is here. Conferences will decide who will earn automatic bids to the NCAA Tournaments and teams try and position themselves for at-large bids, hosting opportunities, and bracketing considerations.
For teams who have been faltering, this is the last chance to right the ship. For programs which have underachieved, this is the last opportunity to live up to expectations. And of course for those with Cinderella dreams, this is the chance to try on the glass slipper.
Sunday's Hoopsville (http://www.d3hoopsville.com) will cover it all in a special, extended, episode which for the first time (outside of Marathon programming) will feature a guest from each of the eight regions. We will also discuss which teams may be on the bubble, who has most likely secured at-large bid, and which teams need to win the AQs. Plus, we talk about how regions as we know it now could very well change in the future.
Hoopsville (http://www.d3hoopsville.com) is presented by D3hoops.com and airs from the WBCA/NABC Studio. Sunday's show will hit the air at 6:00 p.m. ET. It can be watched live right here: http://bit.ly/2EeG5ZE (and simulcast on Facebook Live and Periscope).
If you have questions about Division III basketball, feel free to send them and we will answer them on a the show. Email them to dave.mchugh@d3sports.com or use any of the social media options below.

Are we going to be updating this thread this year?? NESCAC field is set after Wesleyan's win over Bowdoin this afternoon.
Better to start a new one, but yes, for sure. Trackers are being worked on and we will be ready for this weekend!
https://www.d3hoops.com/seasons/men/2019-20/conference-tournaments/index
Looks like the nescac is updated.
At Pat Coleman's suggestion, this is a new thread to discuss the conference tournaments for the 2019-2020 men's basketball seasons.
42 of the 43 AQs for the NCAA tournament are determined by conference tournament outcomes. The University Athletic Association gives its AQ to the regular season champion with tiebreaker procedures if there are co-champions at the end of play on February 29, 2020.
Currently, Emory and Wash U are tied for first in the UAA, but Emory has the tiebreaker advantage for AQ by virtue of the 2-0 head-to-head sweep vs Wash U.
The trackers are being worked on, but NESCAC is up-- as stated by Pat Coleman:
http://www.d3hoops.com/seasons/men/2019-20/conference-tournaments/index (http://www.d3hoops.com/seasons/men/2019-20/conference-tournaments/index)

In two weeks, the regular season will be over. If teams want to still be playing in March, the time to get it done is now ... including conference tournaments, some of which start for some this week.
This week will also bring with it a better understanding of which teams are in position to be playing in the NCAA Tournaments.
Monday on
Hoopsville, we will chat with several programs which have positioned themselves atop their conference races and hope home court will help them punch tickets to the NCAA tournaments. However, they also know the difference between playing at home or in the NCAAs could be a single game still to be played.
Guests Schedule (order subject to change):- Charlie Averkamp, Benedictine women's coach

SCAC and SCIAC still have conference games to be played, so their seedings cannot yet be included.
I believe conference tournaments start next week. The NAC and the NESCAC, right? We'll post any updates here until Pat/Dave posts an updated Conference Tracker link.
The NESCAC starts next week with quarterfinals. Seeding could change a lot depending on Williams-Conn today, which is the last game of the regular season. If Williams wins they are the 1 seed in a tiebreak with 3 other 7-3 teams but if they lose they are the 6 seed in a tiebreak with 2 6-4 teams.

Allen, you neglected to add this paragraph from the NAC presser:
QuoteUMaine-Farmington went undefeated in the NAC East Division to secure both the top seed in the division as well as the no. 1 overall seed for the tournament. The Beavers will host East no. 4 seed Northern Vermont-Lyndon in Friday's first divisional quarterfinal, while East no. 2 seed Husson University will face East no. 3 seed UMaine-Presque Isle.
(emphasis mine)It's not necessarily a given that the team with the better conference record would host a championship game between two teams seeded the same in their respective divisions, so we can't assume that. For instance, the NAC could move the championship game from one division to the other on an every-other-year basis. In fact, that format would probably strike a lot of people as being more equitable, given the extremely large geographic footprint of the league.
While the presser doesn't go on to say who would host the championship in the event that NAC East #2 and NAC West #2 win their respective divisional playoffs, or if it's NAC East #3 vs. NAC West #3, or NAC East #4 vs. NAC West #4, given the fact that Maine-Farmington is seeded higher overall than SUNY-Delhi due to a better conference record, it's reasonable to surmise that the same would hold true in the #2, #3, and #4 slots; i.e., Husson would host SUNY-Cobleskill, UMPI would host SUNY-Poly, and Cazenovia would host NVU-Lyndon.

Greg-- thanks for adding in the NAC presser indicating that UMaine-Farmington is the overall #1 seed. The seeding for the first weekend is for a divisional title-- therefore, the seeding this week is done by winning percentage in NAC divisional games only. The seeding for the second weekend, which determines who would get to host the NAC Championship game, is by overall conference winning percentage.
Both of these percentages can be found here for the year 2022-23:
2022-23 NAC Men's Basketball Standings (http://nacathletics.com/standings.aspx?path=mbball)
The overall seeding is done by overall conference percentage, so if NAC East #1 seed or NAC East #2 seed win out this weekend, that team would host the NAC Championship game against the NAC West winner, no matter what seed the NAC West winner is. SUNY Delhi, the NAC West #1 seed, has a NAC conf winning pct. of .714 (10-4 overall NAC record), while UMaine-Farmington has a .929 NAC winning percentage (13-1 NAC overall record) and Husson has a NAC conf. winning pct of .786 (11-3 NAC overall record).
So, in your named matchup scenarios for the NAC Championship game this season:
NAC East #2 (Husson) vs NAC West #2 (SUNY Cobleskill)-- Host team would be NAC East #2 (Husson), with a NAC conf. winning pct of .786 (11-3) vs NAC West #2's (Cobleskill) conf winning pct of .571 (8-6 NAC overall record.)
NAC East #3 (UMaine Presque Isle) vs NAC West #3 (SUNY Poly)-- Host team would be NAC West #3 (SUNY Poly). Although both teams have a NAC overall winning pct of .571, SUNY Poly wins the tiebreaker with a better overall record. (13-12 overall for SUNY Poly vs 12-13 overall record for UMaine Presque Isle).
NAC East #4 (NVU-Lyndon) vs NAC West #4 (Cazenovia)-- Host team wpuld be NAC West #4 (Cazenovia). Cazenovia has a NAC overall winning pct. of .571 (8-6 NAC record) vs NVU-Lyndon's NAC overall winning pct of .231 (3-10 NAC overall record.)
Thanks for that additional info!

The time honored first line tradition is here. "In Division III basketball, "March Madness" starts in late February."

I know Pat and the guys are swamped this week. Since the link wasn't updated with the C2C tourney info and it was just posted, I added the link to give Pat the heads up and to provide info for those that may have been searching for it.
;)
Thanks. I hadn't checked lately.
The C2C is probably the last to seed their tournament since they really don't have a regular conference season and they rely on two things for seeding:
1. teams have to indicate that they are participating in the tournament
2. most recent Massey ratings after the "regular" season is complete.
It's a strange world for sure.
