I think Maryville is interesting in the CCS, but it would be hard for me to pick them over Berea, LaGrange, or Belhaven.
It's awesome how difficult Maryville scheduled in Non Conference. They likely have a strong enough schedule to be able to get a Pool C bid (if needed), but the toughest aspect for them might be getting the Win% to a "Pool C level" (likely 0.750 or higher).
Playing the two finalists in last year's D3 women's tournament with a team of youngsters is a brave act by Coach T. Not really unusual but a bit brave. Pool C bids need lots of wins, not just a tough schedule! And there still are Berea and Belhaven to deal with and Piedmont is usually a challenge. Should be fun!
