How the hell does Joe Cullen at NJCU not win coach of the year??? The team finished 3-4-2 in the conference. Prior to this year, their conference record since 2014 is 0-56-2.

5 GKs earn All Conference???
HADLEY, Mass. – The Bowdoin Polar Bears have swept the individual NESCAC Men's Soccer awards, marking the third time since 2000 one institution has won all three honors (Williams – 2003, Middlebury – 2008). Dylan Reid was selected as the NESCAC Player of the Year and first-year teammate Tyler Huck was named the NESCAC Rookie of the Year. Bowdoin head coach Scott Wiercinski was voted as the NESCAC Coach of the Year by his peers.
Reid, who is the first defensive player to earn the NESCAC Player of the Year honor since 2017, also earned a spot on the All-NESCAC First Team for the second consecutive season. The senior is the third player from Bowdoin to earn the honor joining Nick Figueiredo (2007) and Nabil Odulate (2015). Reid has started 15 of 16 games this season and chipped in five points on two goals and one assist. Reid was a part of a 613-minute shutout streak during the season and in the final seven games to close out the regular season, Reid and the Polar Bears went 5-0-2, allowing just one goal.
Huck is the third Polar Bear to earn NESCAC Rookie of the Year honors joining Ben Denton-Schneider (2007), Ben Brewster (2010). Huck ranks second on the Bowdoin squad in scoring with nine points on three goals, two game-winners, and three assists.
Wiercinski is the NESCAC Coach of the Year for the second time in his nine seasons directing the Bowdoin program. Wiercinski guided Bowdoin to the top seed in the NESCAC Men's Soccer Championship for the first time since 2010. The Polar Bears will make their ninth appearance in the NCAA Tournament and host first and second-round matches after being an at-large selection to the field.

I had thought Luke Ehrenfreund was a frosh and would have been a ROY candidate, but he's a soph. Still interesting to see two other Hamilton sophs, Margaronis (1st team) and Peplowski (2nd team), ahead of him, which suggests to me that Hamilton will continue to be very competitive.
Of course, it's never too early to start thinking about next year. As we review these all conference player lists, there remains the wild card of how many "seniors" who didn't play in 2020 will be coming back for a fifth year in the fall of 2023... It'll take a couple more cycles for all the Covid impacted players to be shaken out.

Couple year lurker, first time poster. Tried to get an account last year and never was approved (or I missed authentication process). Playing my hand right away with which conference I follow the most. With that being said its been fun learning about other conferences etc. Looking forward to following the tournament this year.

Odd and interesting to me that not a single Messiah player made the list after the first team......agree with the first teamers, but I could list a few others that could have cracked the first team , and at minimum, should be second team or honorable mention....is this a means to share the love and not over recognize Messiah? Of note, no Cole Christian?? I would also easily add Jarec Morlote to this list, as well as Trevor Swartz
Christian is a big omission. Not sure how he didn't even get an honorable mention. Swartz probably should have gotten at least an honorable mention as well. Marlote has 0 pts and was injured for most of October so I don't see how there is a case for him.

Fair argument regarding Morlote....also, to be a bit more balanced, I could see a case to move Pavlovich from 1st team honors....21 saves on the entire season, and not a blistering stat line compared to other GKS that took a lot more shelling on the season..... SOG to G was troublesome for the falcons in a few games....

Yeah, I noticed that myself and agree especially with Cole Cristian. I think the ROY was warranted with Prex; but, I thought Patrick Lee might of at least made an Honorable Mention.
Most if not all conferences limit how many players from one team can be nominated/honored. Very likely in the MAC it's limited to 6. Also, with regard to which players get the nod, some conferences (maybe most or all) base the award on conference games, not the full season with non-conference games.
Likewise, there's a limit with how many players from a team can be nominated for the NSCAA All-Region teams.
Nice to see them recognize Widener's wonderful season with a nod to that coaching staff. If you haven't popped into the Mid-Atlantic thread, lots of discussion of Sean Fatiga and Widener's run after losing their first 3... If they had earned a few results in those first three games, they would've been in the regional ranking discussion all year.
Then again, I'm a big believer that you can't just swap out theoretical results... You never know how one result, either way, effects the teams approach going forward.
