Folks,
Tried to find this answer, but not sure where to look. I heard its leaving Salem, Virginia, right? Where will it be this season? Date? Thanks in advance
From last year's pre-championship manual (https://ncaaorg.s3.amazonaws.com/championships/sports/football/d3/2023-24D3MFB_PreChampionshipManual.pdf)
2024 Championship Dates
First Round Saturday, Nov. 23, on campus
Second Round Saturday, Nov. 30, on campus
Quarterfinals Saturday, Dec. 7, on campus
Semifinals Saturday, Dec. 14, on campus
Championship Friday/Saturday, Dec. 20/21, Shell Energy Stadium, Humble, Texas;
Houston Sports Authority and University of Mary Hardin-Baylor, hosts.
Those dates will be shifted out too with the extra round since the playoffs are being expanded to 40 teams.

the Houston Sports Authority is obviously super stoked. not much on their website for another successful TX Stagg Bowl

And Shell Energy Stadium isn't in Humble, Tx. It's the soccer stadium in downtown Houston, near Minute Maid Park. Unless there's another Shell Energy Stadium that I'm not finding.

Turner Stadium in Humble, TX seemed to be the place. Again, not a thing posted:

But I'm sure that an MLS stadium (https://www.houstondynamofc.com/shell-energy-stadium/ also with nothing) will make for a fantastic Stagg Bowl

QuoteStagg Bowl LI will be played on Jan. 4, 2025, as part of the new expanded playoff structure which will see 40 teams play it out over six weekends for the 2024 Division III football national championship. And it will be played in Houston, Texas, in Shell Energy Stadium, a 12-year-old facility that is home to Houston Dynamo FC, the NWSL's Houston Dash, and Texas Southern football.

At least it won't be fighting for attendance with the Texas HS Championship games in Jerry World now :D.
If a Stagg Bowl is played, and nobody watches (last weekend of NFL season) and nobody attends (in TX), does it really count?

Yes it does.
Houstonian here.
Shell Energy Stadium is in DOWNTOWN Houston, not Humble.
It's the home of the Houston Dynamo MLS club, as well as TSU football (a I-FCS school).
Nice venue!
