According to this site, 33 D3 colleges have it (or announced it, not sure):  https://www.fieldlevel.com/app/teams?sportEnum=flagfootballwomen&athleticAssociation=2&page=2&sort=distance

SCAC also is supporting it, though it had to get Millsaps from the SAA to have four teams.

Back in the 1960's, Mexia (TX) High School had an annual flag football game. Senior and Freshman classes versus Junior and Sophomore classes. The teams were coached by football players from those classes. It was a big event.
