If CSS or Ole are close, I'll become a Bethel fan.

Not saying the Johnnies played their best game of the year, but 2 uncharacteristic fumbles in the 1st half made it seem closer than it was.  And pissing and moaning about a 31-13 loss?  Like John used to say, "They are just pulling guys out of the hallway." Even the '03 Natty Champs squeaked out wins against some mediocre teams.

Sure, there are some things to clean up (penalties!), but GAC is way better than Hamline, Auggie Tech, etc.

Poor outing by the Johnnies.

This Gustie broadcast is weird as hell.  Dead silence except for occasional play by play?  Oddly timed music clips?  Ok.

I'm out!  Nov. 1 is probably my record.

My quibbles with Feeney:
1) He is ZERO threat to run the ball.  :o
2) He tends to hang onto the ball a bit too long.
3) He occasionally forces a ball where he shouldn't.

All in all, he's doing an awesome job, and he'll progress on #s 2 and 3.

Yesterday's weather boosted our non-assisted temperature--65 F this morning!  With today being similar, I expect to remain lord of the manor for a while yet.  ;)

Carleton was unable to put any pressure on Feeney, and they paid the price.

Redtooth out?!?!  Incredible.
I'm close.  Even I will admit it was chilly in the house this morning.

Got home from work, and the wife complained how cold it is in the house.  I told her I think we can make it till at least Thanksgiving.  ;D

I'm not the commissioner, but I, too, would consider you still the master of your domain.

62 F this morning--tomorrow morning will be the real test.

This was the first morning that I thought, "Uh oh."  63 F in our house.  The next few nights look cold, but daytime temps are rebounding.  I have some time.  ;D

LOL, Mac and Hamline are so bad that gaudy performances against them don't count.  ;D

Darwin Dumonceaux and Tepler up front with Kacz  :o

Quote from: sfury on October 18, 2025, 06:32:31 PMWe can still enjoy good performances without thinking SJU hasn't had a good defense since 2003 just because they give up a third and 15.

100%!

I think if you look back at box scores from "the good old days", you'd be surprised.  SJU barely beat a mediocre U$T team in '03.  Even good defenses give up yards, plays, and even *gasp* touchdowns.

Who's still master of his/her domain?  This could be a record-setting year!
