Quote from: DuffMan on November 21, 2025, 10:20:04 PMOh my goodness Jett Feeney is good.
Could you elaborate? Is he going to follow his brother to Collegeville? Did someone mention Kurt Ramler's son being really talented as well? Is he committed to St John's? Appreciate the insights!
The younger Feeney is being recruited by FCS schools.  I think NDSU, where is dad played, is going after him big time.
It's not Ramler's son.  It's his nephew.  Plays for Chanhassen.  They play in the 5A championship today.

Quote from: MapleBBQChicken on November 21, 2025, 12:59:06 PMFirst, does anyone have realistic hopes to win the conference in the future other than St. John's and Bethel?
Only if St. John's and Bethel follow St. Thomas and go D1.

One of my favorites is the UC Santa Cruz Banana Slugs Logo

Quote from: BDB on November 19, 2025, 08:55:56 AMSpeaking of trophies, I believe Duffman is the only one left in the open division of the "Last On Furnace" competition, and Retired Old Rat in the common wall division.

If that is the case, then the "Golden Thermostat Award" is once again presented to Duffman, and the "Golden Thermostat Jr Award" goes to ROR!

Congratulations gentlemen, and enjoy the trophies on your fireplace mantle whenever you decide to light it up.  8-)
I'm still in.  Can't believe how warm my place stays.  Based on the weather forecast I should be good through at least until the 26th.

I don't think I have any competition for the "Golden Thermostat Jr Award."  Looks like I could turn the heat on in August and still win.

I've been following D3 football for a long time.  I used to get all worked up about where SJU got seeded and placed in the bracket.

Theres the champ and everybody else.  No trophies for losers.

I still love the analysis many of you do.

Quote from: CHUBBS PETERSON on November 17, 2025, 11:53:15 AMFor the SJU faithful:

Sorry if I'm rehashing something previously discussed, but genuinely curious about your opinions of the blue, alternate home jersey. I know it's one of the school colors, but it hasn't really had a place in the football uniform until recently.
I really like them as something different. Honestly, I think they are more attractive than the red jerseys. I'd like to see them at least once a year. We're not worn even once last year.

My advice:  take advantage of it and milk it for all you can. Other advice:  lots of ice.

Quote from: sjujohnnie on November 03, 2025, 05:11:44 PMI don't think we'll be tested by St Scholastica or St Olaf

If either of those is close I'd be shocked.
Honestly I wonder if St. Olaf is getting close to pulling the plug on Killian. CSS gave literally fumbled the game away with their backfield miscue on the 5 yd line. Chip shot FG that would have beaten Olaf. Normally it'd seem like a lock for Olaf to beat Hamline and finish 4-6, but I honestly wouldn't be surprised if that's a good game.
I've never understood why the administration seems to care so little about football at St. Olaf. But what they do care about is Carleton looking down on them in the standings consistently.
I thought that when Killian came over from St. Thomas it would be a good thing for Olaf.  Based on the Mac game he's lost his team.

Quote from: sjujohnnie on October 30, 2025, 11:54:54 AMI'm making the 3 1/2 hour trek to St Peter Saturday morning to cheer on the Johnnies in St Peter as they face the Gusties! My wife, our 17 year old daughter, & my mother are joining me & will be meeting a buddy (fellow Johnnie). If anyone else is attending, please let me know! Would love to meet anyone that comments on this board!
I am tentatively planning on attending.  Depends on whether my daughter and grandson decide to go.

There is a pregame gathering at Minnesota Wing King just east of St Peter.

Defensive line as well.

That was easy.  Looking forward to seeing what Curtis can do against our defense.

Paid for the stream today hoping for a competitive game.  Normally I would hope for a MonkeyStomptm.

Welcome back.  I've wondered several times what had become of you.  You'll always be Carl Spackler to me.

Our guy is a big time homer. We all admit that. But he is a good play by play announcer.
