Man I haven't said a word all year.  My little bro is trying to break my bad Karma record I think.  Too bad there is only a little football left this year.

Oh yeah.  Go CNU.

I don't remember who keeps whinning about ferrum not getting D3 top 25 votes.  Schedule somebody for crying out loud.  NCWC was the best team you played year to date.  Yes CNU lost to #16 and no I don't think that makes us any better than Ferrum but it shows that we have a set.  And for better or worse that obviously carries weight with the powers that be.  So stop whinning, take a hint and grow a set.

Narch, oh man.  I geuss you would not cling to whooping up on some one, on a message board, about garbage, if your team was worth talking about.  So cling to what ever shred of dignity that you can muster.  Can't play ball but man Methodist must have the best english majors in the conference.

Well I'm done for the year.

Goooo  CNU.

CNULifer,
How bout a widdle kiss to make it all better.... :-*

Get over yourself and allow opinion to be opinion.

Don't need a kiss.

NCAA South region ranking is good enough.

With that said, I am a big fan of UMHB (they are pretty tough).  As a matter of fact I root for all the teams CNU plays against (except the week they play CNU of course).  In DIII you don't get to see many teams play like DI with TV coverage.  Having seen all of the teams CNU has played, I try to keep up with them and see how they are progressing.  It is a fun underground grass roots kind of experience.

Hey,

My cousin is the Kicker for Oklahoma.  He is from the Dallas/Ft. worth area.  Garrett Hartley.  Are any of you guys from that area and had you heard of him?  I think he has some kicking records in texas.

Side Note to all you parents out there.  His Mom would only let him play soccer for fear of an injury.  His older brother got full ride to Kansas to play soccer and blew out a knee.  they took the ride away.  I have 3 brothers all played or playing college football (2 rbs at AFA and 1 at CNU with no serious injuries).  I told Garret stories of them and he begged his mom to play.  Finally around 8th grade she said he could try out as a kicker.  Long story short, his first ever college start was in conference championship and then National championship vs USC.  Blew his red shirt freshman season but didn't miss a kick.

Sorry I went so long, just bragging for one of your texas boys.

I just voted on D3.com that UMHB will win this weekend.

Go UMHB.  Kick some butt.

On the bright side, Faison looked really good.  He threw 2 beautiful bombs right over the receivers shoulder.  One of which went a good 45 yards in the air into double coverage.  Also threw some ropes on comeback routes.  A good day for him.  Keep progressing and CNU won't be a running one trick pony come playoff time.  I like our chances down the stretch.

TO CNU TEAM:   It is not enough to just show up.  Ask the seniors.  Even if the first quarter is a blow out on paper.  there are 3 more.  and paper only counts for those running a pole.   Crush them, demoralize them, until the final whistle sounds.  Do that and You will win the final 3 games.

I was not worried at all at halftime. I knew it was a metter of time before the miscues stopped and CNU started scoring. I also had a strong feeling at halftime that CNU was going to post another shutout.

I looked up definition of Sleepwalking in dictionary and saw a picture of CNU's football team.

We played great in first half of maryville and then set the autopilot in the third quarter.

We played great in the first three possessions against Methodist.  Multiple formations and good chunks of yards on each play.  The Methodist D had to be wondering what was going to happen from play to play.  Definitely on their heals.  BUT we turned the ball over 3 times instead of scoring.  It seemed that the result of the game was a foregone conclusion in the first quarter.  Everyone even the CNU team just kind of relaxed.  Yes CNU won and that is all that matters short term.  I hope they get there heads on straight and keep fired up for the whole game at NCWC.  3 scary games left.

K-mack,

You need to come look at the south region fan poll.  We got three texas guys and two BC guys trying tell us that 3 of the 4 south teams are from texas.  CNU is 5th.  I just read what you said about UMHB and CNU game.  I was there as well and agree with you.  The season may prove both of us wrong but not yet.  set those guys straight, they don't take differing opinions lightly over there.  Big fish in little pond syndrome.  from a guppy that is tired of being repressed by the sharks that be.

What I don't understand is not being brought to court over something clearly illegal not just bad sportmanship.  All fights are not with in the realm of the game.  If they were then play would continue around them.  These criminals should be tried in court for their actions.  end of story.  Heat of battle is BS.  People get upset driving in traffic, does that make violence OK.  They should be tried and sentenced.  I am amazed that any school would want an athlete representing it in that manner.  hey they were young and naive and excited and what ever.  that is no excuse.  Tell that to a girl that gets hit by a boyfriend or husband when things get heated.

I am sick of our society treating this stuff differently b/c of their popular status as whatever.

Kind of like how the Allstar monsters on these boards gang up and smash people with honest opinions that do not agree with them.  Somebody says something interesting and they pop up saying where are your papers. ;) ;D

Hey Llama,

The player is my brother.  It was in a past post answering ron boegers earlier question.  Don't bring him up, the staff at CNU does not allow players to get on these boards.

Keep up with info.  They put him back on offense and he played against Greensboro.  Not much, but I'm not complaining.

Never said I was all those things.  Just asked why I couldn't be?  Check my post.

I did not enjoy BC loss.  Just thought that the out of confernce schedule bit bc a little, now that they are not going 10-0.  Hey, BC will probably win out and still get to the dance.  They just won' have the easiest road to travel when they get there.

Easy scheduling in my mind is very scary because you can never take your conference for granted.  I know this will upset the usac guys but, maybe exculding CNU's first year, CNU was the best team in the conference by far and we still couldn't beat SU.  The posts before had a lot of rahrah for each team BC / CNU.  This post does not.  What has now happened to BC is exactly what I was trying to convey earlier.  The possiblity of loss is always there.  BC is now left with a now what situation where they have to root for other teams so that they may get in the Playoffs.

As far as CNU goes, I am far from convinced that we will win out.  We took some steps saturday.  But D stopped playing at half time.

The real question for me is what would happen if CNU does stumble one time.

Here is the hypothetical.  CNU goes 8 - 1 in region and BC goes 9 - 1 in region.  Who would get the playoff bid and why?  Strength of schedule is on CNU's side and Margin of Victory and Playoff presidence is on BC side.  What is more important?

You guys need to rethink all of your south brackets now that BC is not going to be 10-0.  Maybe they should have played a tougher out of conference schedule, hindsight being 20/20 and all.
