Jase wasn't on the 2017 team.  That was Carl Robinson III----------he was only a freshmen.  Great arm but stood in the pocket too long.  UWW pounded UMHB's defensive line.  Poor play calling by Coach Lee and poor decision making by Fredenburg------------he knew Jase was hurt but wanted him to stay in.  They needed someone more mobile in there that wasn't going to sit there and hold the dang ball all day.  I thought the 3 freshmen lineman did a fantastic job especially considering such a big game.  When an offense can get 4-5 yds every time they run the ball, you need to make adjustments---UMHB did not make any.  Moving Jeffereson Fritz screwed the defense.  Was at a loss as to why they didn't start Mikah Hackett---------dude is a beast and has played some great football.  2 picks for TD's in a game, fast on run support.  Poor coaching in this game by UMHB.

I knew Jase wasn't the QB in 2017. I was referring to the defensive game plan being much the same. Pressure the QB and make him run for his life. Atleast Carl could scramble. Either way the offense was shutdown. No adjustments were ever made to put the QB in a better position to make a play. He was a sitting duck ripe for the picking.

Not the outcome we were hoping for but a good season either way.  This loss reminded me of the 2017 loss to Mount Union in the Stagg Bowl. They T'd off on Jase all game and the game plan never changed. Same thing Mount did in 2017. You have an immobile QB and an inexperienced O-line and you leave the guy back there to get ate up. The 4 plays before the half sealed that game. It was over after that. Valiant effort by the Defense. But you cant leave the defense on the field for 43 minutes and expect them not to give up points. I wonder when the last time UMHB finished a game with -3 total rushing yards. Congratulations to the Seniors. 56-2 record is very impressive. GO CRU!!

Best defense in D3...eat your Wheaties this offseason Fulford...work on that slide.

He's missing yards with all them Tom Brady slides out there. More running the ball...less running the mouth.

Win lose or draw...UMHB has exposed Fulford as a fraud. All that trash talking he does and he can't take a hit. All that swag and a soft chin. My hats off to the Mount squad...but I wouldn't drink an apple juice with Fulford and that slide.

Once again many many assumptions not supported by facts at all. What are you basing all of these assumptions on? I have a lot of connections in Belton and seem to be lacking the information that you have. You either have a closer connection than I do (doubt it)...or you're assuming a bunch of BS to make yourself feel better about your team.

I've seen Merle's antics...C- trolling at best.  Without previous knowledge of an infraction of some sorts...I'm not sure how someone in good conscience can assume that UMHB cheats...unless they are jealous or a hater.  It is not logical for UMHB to self report, open themselves up for scrutiny, and then make false statements to the media regarding the issue that they self reported about.  The truth is going to come out...why falsify the details and make the fallout worse? They would be better off not giving any details at all.  I would think that its better to be a cheat...than a liar and a cheat. I was just curious if I was missing something...

All press releases say otherwise. What past occurrences make you think any different?

Just out of curiosity...what happened in the past that would lead someone to assume that UMHB cheated? I'm just curious why people are assuming the worst in this situation? Every article that I've read clearly states that the infraction resulted in no competitive advantage.  Am I missing something...or is your assumptions based on hatred and jealousy?

Talk about a big ole boo-hoo in that article. Someone get the Coach some tissue and a therapy puppy. Poor guys...they have to play some road games in the playoffs.  :'( :'(

At least today was fun...

If you are going to have the stones to put photos of your college rings on your website, they should be National Championship rings.  But then you would just have a photo of a Tire, and a wall.  Your the one that needs a tissue dude !!

GHC  Out
Looked like y'all had plenty of room to stretch out over there in the visitor stands. Guess that coach of yalls don't have to worry about playing anymore road games. Lol. Hopefully you stopped by Bucees or Miller's Smokehouse while you were here...I'd hate for it to be a wasted trip.

I'm sorry that The Cru isn't going to play HSU next Saturday. I know that we can always expect the Cowboys to bring their A game and to play hard till the final whistle. It will be nice to square up against Linfield again. There isn't a doubt that they will be ready for a rematch. We still owe them losses, so what better time than next Saturday to give the Wildcats another loss.

On another note, it would be nice to see more fans standing and cheering even if it's only on third downs. The players down on the field play a bit harder when they hear the fans cheering and clapping! So, lets get a bit more vocal and let The Cry know that the fans aren't there watching a polo match.

Then just give away free tickets to everyone in town like you did in the first game.

That might be the strangest bitter post I've seen all season on any of these boards.

Yea ole Mojo real salty about the road games I see. Maybe him and the ole coach can have cuddle sessions!!

For the best BBQ in Belton you have to go to Millers BBQ as Dr. Bawcom mentioned. It's not all big and fancy like Schoepfs...but the chopped beef sandwich is huge, and way better than Schoepfs. Looking forward to the game...that is unless I have a new born in my arms. Good luck to the Cru and let's get over the UWW hump!!!!

Great game. Kind of sloppy but a win is a win! Adios SJF!! Keep it classy fellas. Looks like Cru gets another chance at UWW. Any idea who will host?
