Whitewater knee(ing) the clock out with :52 seconds in the 4th, is absolutely strange strategy, considering they also had 2 timeouts remaining. Can anyone say no confidence in your offense? Playing for overtime. Unbelievable!

Quote from: BoBo on September 21, 2025, 06:41:00 PMWho are Brian Station & Justin Klinker?

Where are you seeing those names?

That's what the UMHB broadcast/radio folks called them.

I had to look up the roster during the game as I thought maybe I'd been saying Stanton's name wrong. In the second half I think I heard the color guy correctly say Stanton, but play by play guy couldn't get it right.
Aside from that, I thought the camera work was really good.

They both mispronounced the names the entire first half; the color guy read the stats at the half correctly, then they both again mispronounced them the rest of the game. You could hear the stadium PA with the correct pronunciation but these two guys just couldn't get them right. Otherwise, they called a good game for having not much to be happy about!

UWW played very efficient on offense; defense controlled the LOS. It helped Whitewater that UMHB didn't seem to have the explosive playmakers their roster usually is stacked with. UMHB needs better QB play.

Quote from: 02 Warhawk on September 21, 2024, 06:28:28 PMThat was all sorts of pathetic from UWW. Haven't seen an offense that inept in a long time.

Coaching: F
Oline: F-
QB: F
Defense: B-

I think your're being too generous w/the coaching, o-line, QB & defense grade.

Warhawks stinking up the Perk like we haven't seen in a very, very long while. An absolutely horrendous 1st half performance by UWW. Is UMHB this good or is UWW this bad?

Quote from: The Third Division on September 07, 2024, 06:18:12 PMI don't know if anyone else noticed this, but I think this is the best Warhawk team I have seen in years. Less than 10 seconds away from shutting out the 19th ranked football program in d3.

I guess I missed something because I didn't notice anything extraordinary today.

However, it was nice to see a Warhawk turnover-free game and only 2 penalties.

r.

Love the offense play calling....been saying it all season. No offense to Bullis, but this regime seems to have a much better grasp on it.

You realize that the offensive coordinator, Nick Pesik, is the same Nick Pesik that called plays last year, right.

Not sure what it is. Something is different.

Learned a few things from past screw ups

If you missed the game last night, here's a flavor of what you missed.

Not only did I miss MNF, I blinked & missed that highlight snippet .

It was finally nice to see future Warhawk offensive stars get some meaningful playing time this year. RBs Jackson (sophomore) & Stanton (freshman) looked impressive in the 2nd half today. Ran hard, showed good quickness & burst. Gave Thomas & Maher-Parr some well deserved rest. Should be more of the same next week.

Agreed. I thought coach Rindahl did a great job keeping the team focused to play this game at such a high level. The future guys played with the same intensity.

Unfortunately, the punt returners ignored the stay focused & play at a high level memo.
They were very lucky today.

UWW looked great today, glad to see a shutout like the old days. Also glad to see Ceniti play the second half at QB, he ran the offense very well.

Would have rather seen Chryst have Ceniti's snaps & Ceniti take Chryst's snaps.

Turtle- I hope you're right. In the meantime I'll go back to my intimidation tactics of sending Falcon players videos of UWL NFL players like Newberry, Schroeder and Maslowski.

You forgot Joel Williams

The personal foul call on whitewater late in the 4th for receiver signaling 1st down seemed ridiculous.  Kinda smells like home cookin for RF. Can offense not do that?  If not, then defense shouldn't be able to hold up the fist to signal 4th down.

17 was taunting the DB & spun the ball at his feet. It was a textbook definition of unsportsmanlike conduct. Warhawks were doing stupid stuff all game & got caught every time. The official made the proper call. 77 was also a major negative factor when he wasn't laying on the ground injured.

Players spin the ball all the time. Never gets called. Why that time?

It was at the feet of the DB. The RF receiver who caught the Falcon's first TD pass also spun the ball but wasn't flagged - home field advantage I think.
