that was an amazing season ;D congrats to the eagles finishing so well in the tournament.

Bruen's presence will be missed on the court next year...thanks for the four years of exciting basketball

Depauw looks like they can shoot really well from the outside. It is interesting that Depauw has scored exactly 74 points every game this tournament.  Mary Washington has only let one team score over seventy points this entire season and that was the exciting overtime game to bridgewater.  I think the eagles' defense will stifle any kind of threat coming from depauw.

hope bruen is fully recovered for friday's game.

Good luck eagles!!!

Is there any news on bruen's illness?

is anyone else from the CAC doing the pick'em contest?  I don't think many other people would have picked UMW over Scranton and Bowdoin besides eagle fans.

I have mary washington taking scranton by 5.  Scranton can put up points but mary washington has a great defense.  If they can keep scranton to 54 points umw will pull out the win.  scranton has a lot of experience and they are playing at home. good luck to the eagles!

Quoting Santiago from before the Season Kicked off.

"1. Mary Washington (they are not stopping until they have a national title...they have grown since bruen and deena appeared in fredericksburg and I don't think deena will allow senior bruen to leave without a strong showing.)
2. Marymount (just thought I would mix it up...you don't have the amount of success of marymount has had over the last 15 years based on a couple of players coming and going...that kind of success is built on good coaching)"

I think Mary Washington is still on track if they are full strength.  Are there any updates on sarah and larson?

wow thanks for pointing that out...I'm still sticking with the spartans...If the Celtics were able to pull out of their losing streak I'm going to give lucky game number 13 to the spartans.

Will they reschedule the senior night game?  The weather looks like it may impede on the game. :'(
Bruen has been one of those few players that a coach can build a team around.  She has been an inspirational leader on and off the court for the past four years and it would only be fitting for her to receive a well deserved farewell in the last regular season CAC game to ever played in Goolrick Gymnasium.

York and UMW in the final...I do not see York getting beat three times this year by marymount.  UMW will beat York in the final.  I'm going to go with salisbury over catholic in the first round

It might be a factor because I have never heard Bruen missing a game for illness no matter who the opponent was.  Then again the regular season is pretty much a lock and it is better for her to be well rested so applebury is probably just being extra cautious.  I do not think her sickness should play a huge role in the seeding especially with the depth of this eagle team.  This being her senior year I wish her a speedy recovery to back on the court and finish up the season strong.

congrats to debbie for making the academic all-distric team.  Best wishes to her getting well.  I hear that she is still quite sick.  The next few games should allow her to get the needed rest before heading into the tourney.
