Rumor has it that it will be the Haskell Indian Naitons Football Team. I believe an independent NAIA team http://www.haskell.edu/athletics/football.asp

I play linebacker and fullback but every school i have talked to wants me to play linebacker and i enjoy playing linebacker much more... i do like redlands main defense they run too it looks like a great defense to play in as a linebacker

Alright well thanks for the info RFB... im close to making my decision on where to go and just wanted some any input i could get... also could anyone tell me how the an independent team like chapman would make the playoffs becuase i know that the SCIAC champion recieves an automatic bid i was wondering how it works out for independent teams? Would they have to go 9-0?

Yeah thanks i understand this is the sciac board so not many chapman posters anyway... im just trying to find out as much as i can about the two programs... from a different point of view than from the coaches that have have been calling. I agree though redlands does sell itself they have had the most thorough recruiting process out of any school i have visited and they call often... im just not sure im going to be one of 70 kids in this years recruiting class and will have to wait behind upper classman to play

I can understand the how hard it is to get past the admissions staff at occidental. Im a senior in high school and was recently denied to occidental with pretty good grades. i went on the football recruiting weekend and was in contact with the coaches quite often and it never really occurred to me that i would be denied. I also have a question for you guys because the two schools that i have been on contact with except occidental have been redlands and chapman (both of which i have been accepted to). I was wondering if you guys were to give a recomendation what school would it be?( the academics aside) The coaches from both schools have been in constant contact with me.. maybe redlands a little more but if you guys have any insight that would be great.
