I think it is going to come down to Juniata and Moravian. Moravian has been pretty steady all season and they are always a threat. And you can never count Juniata out. Especially if they get to play at home.

I was at the Juniata/Galludet game this weekend. It was a good game. The players from Galludet are extremely athletic and certainly came to play. When the player from Galludet went down and the paramedics were called onto the field everyone felt their hearts sink. As everyone in the stands looked on and hoped for the best the Juniata players gathered as a team, took a knee, and began to pray. This brought a tear to my eye.
Say what you want about Juniata and their record, but to me they showed their true character on Saturday at that very moment.

Murphy you're gonna be waiting awhile for that email, buddy. I have nothing more to say to you. And as for your apologizing, good for you. Perhaps next time you won't talk negatively about the whole team, including the players.

At least they kept the Green Terror name. That is one of the best team names around.

Cool your jets Murphy. Not all comments are directed solely at you, paranoid much? Just like you I felt the need to air out my feelings. Nothing personal.

You called me out so here I am.
Yes, I am a die-hard JC Eagles fan. I've seen the ups and the downs and want more than anything for things to turn around for that team. It breaks my heart when people say stupid s*** , i.e. calling them a high school JV team and picking on the coaching staff. These people have no idea. They have no clue about how hard these young men and coaches work to make the most of what they've got. You can only work with what you are given. Come to a game and look at a program, compare the size of Juniata's players to their competition....it's a pretty big difference. It's ashame that the size of heart is not listed.
And as far as Huntingdon not being a happenin' town. No crap! But JC is its own little society up on the hill and the students are always up to something. They have a way of making their own fun.

As a Juniata fan and someone that has also seen a number of Juniata games both this year and for the past 20 or so years, I would like to invite Murphy to contact the football staff at Juniata and ask them if they could use his expert services. If he is such an expert at coaching football then I think he is doing his son, himself, and the whole team a disservice by not offering up his help. Since I highly doubt that he is man enough to do this I suggest that he zip his lip.
As more of an expert on Juniata football than this man will ever be, I realize that the problem is not the coaches at all. The coaches can only work with what they have. Just by looking at the size of the Juniata players compared to every team they have faced this year, they are still out of there league. Until the school itself decides to make football a priority and allow the coaches to go out and get the type athletes that it takes to bring them back to their glory days things will remain the same.
