I could easily do 5 1/2 hours to Fort Wayne, IN for the Final Four, even if Point wasn't in it. I just have to find a nearby indoor waterpark for the wife and kid to play in.
Obviously no offense to Salem, loved the experiences I had there, but this can be an easy 4-day weekend for the next four years. As a Midwesterner, I'm really excited about this.
You're all set.....

And they have groupons.
OK, there's one fan. Now only 12,999 to go.
There's Groupons, so I can probably get Swampgoon and his family to come. That makes 8.

Chas Cross second team preseason All American.....http://www.d3hoops.com/awards/all-americans/men/preseason-2014
Except for injury prone nature, hard to not see Tillema on one of these teams.
I was thinking the same thing.
The D3hoops.com preseason All-America team is chosen from previous years' All-American and All-Region nominations.
I would guess that is why Tillema isn't on any of these teams.

I'm wondering if the potential transfer might be John Benkoske an Oshkosh West graduate playing at Loyola. He's a 6'9" sophomore who is not playing a lot at the moment.
Per the radio pregame show against Viterbo, The transfer's name is Ross Forman. He played 1 year at Wyoming and 2 years at Loyola. He is from Minneapolis MN.

So Whitewater is playing my alma mater, Olivet College. We may play them too, in a holiday tournament in Springfield, Ohio. I'm trying to talk Brian Carroll into going, but he is wimping out.
He does that a lot, doesn't he? lol

Maybe if the much rumored trip to Amherst comes to fruitation, maybe I can get Swampgoon to go out there with me, depending on when it is...

I'll go to Amherst, it's only about 10 minutes down the road...

Hudson's is another pretty good place... that's where my wife and I went before the last game. It's a 50's style diner with burgers and malts, etc.
Good place to eat, but I file that under "franchise"...![]()
Old school, when did you stop being a corporate sellout?

BDshotblocker has come to a decision on who's 3 v 3 team he will join!!!!!!!!!!
An annoucement will be made after the men's game.
As soon as Swampgoon gains his "posting" eligibility, it won't matter. You better be able to shoot the "3" because you won't have any post play with Swampgoon manning the box with his lead pipe. He can also launch the 3 without hesitation. We used to live next to each other and he could throw it from my steps across the picket fence and into the basket on his garage. Where do you think Michael Jordan and Larry Bird got the ideas for those McDonald's ad commericals? OK, maybe not all that is entirely true.

I definately did not expect Point to name Bob Snelling coach.
Semling must have been suprised !!
According to the very reliable Stevens Point Journal, there were 19 applicants for the job, but Semling was the only one interviewed.
