Ha! Fitting end to the season. Hopefully the QB play is better next year.

And their defense can't get off the field on 3rd down. FG here and it's over

Yeah, smelling like a UWw loss here. Depauw more disaplined and have a better game plan. Onto next year.
Glad I decided not to make the drive out there for this

I saw a bit of their game vs. Wabash- they sure looked like they know their way around a football field- pass and run. QB w awesome numbers.
I have to/like to believe the UWRF experience will help UWW in this game.
Yeah, this would be a layup for UWW back in their hey day. Nowadays, this is very winnable for DePauw. No longer taking UWW wins for granted.
Just hope UWw comes to play.
Even if this would have been a layup back in our "hey day", I'm pretty sure you would have talked yourself into being nervous by kickoff!![]()

November 17, 2025, 11:00:07 PMQuote from: USee on November 16, 2025, 05:49:36 PMNot sure I would consider DePauw a favorable home game. They are much better than usual this year. Took JCU to the wire. They have an explosive offense and a top 10 run defense. I think UWP got a better draw than UWW.
More favorable than d3football's projection. Which was @ SJU I think.
Like I also said, I'm in no way saying UWW wins. This could be another Rockford first round matchup like a few years ago where they smoked us at the Perk.

Not only is UWW, but they get a favorable home game. Didn't see that coming.
Not saying at all they're win, but the committee did them a huge favor.

The game was not as close as the final score. Oshkosh scored on a 60 plus yard pass and had one sustained drive. Platteville controlled the line going on long time consuming drives led by its running attack. A turnover on downs inside the 10 and 2 missed field goals kept the score closer than it really was. Platteville has Stout and EC left. If they win out it would take some help for them to get a playoff bid.
According to Hansen Ratings, if the Pioneers win their last 2 games, the have a 100% chance to qualify for the playoffs.
Never mind what I said here. I was wrong

I would think so. Considering UWW, UWP and UWL all beat each other, I would think UWP has the Pool C edge as they're the only team to beat UWRF. If a 3rd WIAC team would get in it would have to be UWL, since they beat UWW.
Which leaves UWW as the odd team out of the playoffs (if they can beat UWO). Very long shot that they put in 4 WIAC teams....small chance of that though.
Pool A
UWRF
Pool C
1. UWP
2. UWL*
3. UWW**
* Long shot

Should have been our first loss of the year. Blowing a double digit lead against LX might keep us out of the playoffs.
Need to win out and hope for the best.

October 05, 2025, 12:54:06 AMQuote from: KitchenSink on October 04, 2025, 06:40:53 PMWhy does Whitewater always have poor play from the quarterback position?
27 pass attempts for 79 yards. Under 3 yards per attempt!! Didn't think that was possible.
I felt like I was watching the Bears in the Justin Fields era. Nothing but check downs and bubble screens for little to no yardage. QB who holds onto the ball too long, and looks in over his head.
Icing on the cake was getting a quick kick blocked. Again...didn't think that was possible either.
What are we doing here?!

Gutless and pathetic. The UWW I know doesn't kneel with two TO and 50 seconds on the clock to be content with OT.
Deserved to lose.
This kid our best option at QB?
I can see why we were picked to finish in the middle of the WIAC. This is who we are now.

Rough weekend for Texas football, Emma. First our Hawks beat down MHB in TX, then our Bears beat down the Cowboys.
