CSS up 6-1 over Knox

Knox fans are starting to get out the grill for the two and barbeque.

Looks like they packed the grills back up and are making it interesting...6-3 CSS

css will most likely go with gaub or hawkins against knox....kummet the next game with lanari in relief then gerten.  Berg will most likely follow on short rest.
CSS will win big over Knox
The Robinson/Ruebens matchup will be a good one. Ill go with UST

sounds like the short fences and the wind played a factor in that bomb
solid outing for berg.  Poor defense and a couple "home runs" hurt the CSS...7,8,9 coming up for CSS.

Never count out CSS in the first round...what a game so far. Both pitchers getting hit but still doing enough not to make it a blow out

Great rankings...I would have to agree with them all.
Teams like Olaf and Thomas year after year are going to contend because of the winning traditions they have brought to the schools.  They have great coaching and nice facilities to draw in recruits that apparently the Gophs cant get( cheap shot)
Another characteristic you notice about elite teams in MN/WI is the number of players they have on their rosters.  The games I have seen this year you notice 30 or more guys dressing and even more playing j/v.  Its a huge advantage to have that many talented guys to pick and choose from to fill holes on your roster.

From what Ive seen a UMAC team does not get an auto bid until 2010.
Im guessing on this but Presentation, Bethany, and northwestern are considered in region.

oshdude,
can you explain to me why ripons QOWI is typically high year in and year out considering how weak their schedule is and their lack of big wins?

ERA   W-L   APP  GS  CG SHO/CBO SV IPH R ER BB SO 2B 3B  HR  AB B/Avg

34 Burg, Peter......  0.69   2-0     3   3   1   0/0    0  13.0   4   1   1   0  12   0   0   1   41  .098

These are his conference stats.  Only 13 innings and 3 starts so its not like he is padding his stats with the UMAC competition.   With CSS's ace, kummet, struggling against top competition peter burgs wins against those top 25 teams is a huge boost for them. This crafty lefty would be on my all region team for sure.
I think supermiac is by himself leaving both ruebens and burg off the all region team.

actually scholastica does usually throw out 3 totally different lineups when they play the bottom of that league and they throw the bottom half of the rotation to eat up innings
