actually it does...for d3 schools where it is difficult to get student body support at 1pm on a saturday. A Sat night game is def only used to attract more student body to the game and in turn more ticket sales.

well its that time of yr again thought id make an appearance. I talked to my friend at Brown who plays DE for them says the scrimmage went well Union played well but after first quarter Brown only played 3rd and 4 stringers. I think thats better anyways...who wants to break a collarbone before the season opener that would really suck.
I think its great that Union and Ithaca are playing this yr. I have great memories of them back in 05-06 and their fans wearing bright yellow jackets saying obnoxious things even though their team got m.s. at good ol frank bailey.
Play hard. Play confident boys.

Its sad that a great game, rivalary, and tradition like the Union Rpi game has come down to this discussion of racial slurs and who has more class? Anyone who has played in the Shoes game knows how intense the game is and all the sub plots that exist making the game that more intense. I dont know what happened in the game but for example I remember me and Logidice jawing back and forth but off the field we hung out a few times and had some good laughs. This game brings out the worse I feel in players at times because so much is built upon this game. The rivalry is so engrained in us that a hatred develops.

Quick question...what condition is the field in??? Are we in for another game in a cow pasture?
I am sure 86' will be a mess as in years past, which of course favors the short passing game and hummmmm who does that favor? 86' field= The Gong Show!
Listen to the excuses starting already....

My favorite was always the rocks on the sidelines. WHO PUTS ROCKS RIGHT OUTSIDE THE SIDELINES? Yes tru story instead of dirt or grass they have a rock aquarium on the sidelines. I always enjoyed pulling those out of my knees and forearms.

Sorry Frank I am out for the shoes game. What moron thought it would be a good idea to put it that weekend instead of last game of the year? Im guessing there was a scheduling conflict but thats awful. I will be up for the Merchant Marines.
