You probably don't care but my opinion as to whom is the most athletic big in the conference. Clear cut Andy GG all day. Kid is a D3 hoops freak. Now if he could only learn to implement a consistent 15 foot jumper to his arsenal he could be pretty good.

Pretty hard to believe the Scots were in reach of a W against UST. Looks like Fritz needs to go back to the drawing board if they want to have another dominant season. 9 pt win against the predicted worst team in the MIAC is just not good enough.
16 mins. out of Hipp in the loss to the Knights??? He only had 4 fouls so I don't think it's due to foul trouble unless he got 2 early ones in the first half which is very likely. But when they give up 16 offensive rebounds to Carleton I don't understand how he gets 16 mins and only 8 shot attempts. Anyone care to elaborate?

Depends on what you consider a top scorer I guess. I don't see him in the top 10 because he won't get to the free throw line enough.

It is fun to start the conversation on which coach deserves it however, at this point the only name that should rise up in discussion is Fritz. All other teams/coaches need to prove themselves and finish out the year strong. I like Hanson and his improvements from last season however they still need to finish strong and stop losing! I also like what Whitmore has accomplished at Hamline but just like Gustavus his team needs to finish strong and atleast end up with 3rd place for him to earn it in my opinion.

I didn't see much of McPartland getting torched.
I did see 6 shots go in right in front of Paulson and a couple of dribble drives against him that ended up being assists because help defense needed to occur.
I know not everything made the highlight reel but thats what showed up.

Steve can definitely jump out of the gym.(again, we need more d3 dunks on youtube)
Here's a Will Wright dunk in traffic against Carleton, skip to 0:45 http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=whJnKPdhJug
Also, here's the highlights from the SMU win over GAC: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MknL6n5IYGo
That was pretty nice. He didn't even look like he gave it any effort at all. Nice dunk over Rosett and Biewin

I really like the way this year is turning out. There are a lot of competitive teams and any team (besides Mac) can win on any given night. This league from 3rd place to 10th place there is only a 4 game lead which makes this year very interesting coming down the stretch. Personally I like red hot Carleton and their chances to creep on in to the playoffs. St. Olaf is also a very good team and they are done with powerhouse St. Thomas. They will be tough to beat out of the playoffs but then again anything can happen as we've seen from Bethel, Carleton & St. Marys beating the Gusties. Should be fun buckle up and enjoy!

MVP??
Great ending to a great game. Ray Brown is the BEST player in this league. MVP in my eyes. Hamline has significantly improved from previous years and he is the main reason. I also like Hipp as he had a huge game last night. I think 6th man should go to Dan Anderson. I've been looking at their box scores and in 4 games this kid shot 12/12 on 3's. That is being productive and playing your role. He may not average the points Seth Anderson or Sam Blank are who are my other candidates for 6th man but he is playing half their minutes. Also he's shooting 55.6% from 3 in conference games. Incredible. I'd like to see him have a 20+ minute game to see what he can do with it.

Avon it would be nice to see how you are coming up with these numbers....how much does each category (pts, asts, rbs, blks, fg%, 3pt%, stls) weigh into your statistics of the GS, GSM, GSGM.

I am new to this board as well but have been reading for years. I must say I love everyones input and it really helps me stay in touch with the league. Keep up the good work.
