Tomorrows CState vs Rowan will be a great game.  Defensively both teams are tough to score on.  This is a real test for CState and Rowan both.  I agree with I think Pat's assessment that this game will likely be decided by a key turnover or some other bizarre play.  Regardless of the outcome, should be a great game to watch.  Ok, will be a greater game to watch if CState is the beneficiary of the key turnover or fluke play, I cannot tell a lie. ;)

Brought back memories of the good old days!  Thats a great recruiting tool for the random HS kid that punches Cortland Football into Youtube due to their exposure from the Jets.  What I would give to hear a Coach MacNeill speech just one more time! Any chance you can get Coach Mac with a pre game speech.

When my son played in HS, the football club was all about creating memories for the players.  Making videos of games available to all, photos a well updated website, pre game pasta dinners etc.  He graduated 3 years ago now but still whenever he and his buddies are home on break, they might start playing poker in my basement but almost always watching a game tape or two or someones highlight tape.  Football is many things and memories is clearly one of them.

Good point Bombers...

Cortland is beating the teams they should beat, and they deserve credit for that...

They've yet to be tested so we'll see what happens when they are...

Very true.  CState's only competitive opponent thus far has been Kean.  I agree they deserve credit anyway as I've seen many a team play to the level of their opponent and give the lesser team a shot if not lose outright and let's face it, three shutouts against even three sub par teams is a worthy accomplishment.  Looking forward to see how they do thru the end of their season which is clearly where they will be truly tested.

Congrats to CState on another shutout.  Yes I know it was against programs that are not considered to be powerhouses.  I am impressed regardless of the strength of the other teams.  It's not an easy task to keep any team scoreless so I tip my hat to the CState defense!  They had a nice goal line stand this week at the end of the 1st half.  They took two shots from the 2 yard line and both were stuffed.  You gotta love a good goal line stand.

Pitcher and the recievers seem to be in synch and Autera is just plain fun to watch.  Does anyone know the status of Sair?  Add him back into the mix would make the offense extremely potent, not that they are doing poorly now.

I know the team is taking it one week at a time as they should but I for one am looking forward to Oct 30th.  It's shaping up to be one helluva game which will be fun to watch.

Congrats to Cortland for making the D3 Top 25. Now we have (5) teams from the East in.

Way to go Cortland making the top 25.

Wide out Anthony Giuliano is making a name for himself instead of being Andrew's brother.  He made a catch in the back of the end zone this week that was incredible and that was just one of 3 TD's he had on the day.  And as previously posted, Justin Autera going up and over a defender for a TD was just plain fun to watch.

Looking forward to the team playing at home after two on the road.  Besides homefield it gives me an excuse to breakout the smoker!  Well done Cstate.

Cortland takes care of business again.  I am impressed that Coach has them focused.

score?
37 - 0
Kid Guiliano was outstanding at wr and Autera ran well. Cstate went to the wildcat a fair amount and successfully. Team seems to be well balanced offensively and the defense tough as usual.

Upstate said it best.  Cortland keeps on winning and they will move up.
Made it to the West Conn game last week.  Had to comment on West Conn's facility as this was my first trip there.  It's outstanding. It was a bright, hot, sunny day but with the stands covered for the most part, sitting in the shade was a pleasure!

Welcome to the NJAC Board and don't be a stranger. +K
Thanks.  Not to jinx either team but if Montclair and Cortland keep rolling, could make Oct 30th a huge game which would be outstanding.  Have not seen Montclair play but from what I've read, seems like it would be a real battle.  Good luck tomorrow. Gotta love this time of year!

To paraphrase a Yankee announcer  - "The Warriors Win!"

Long drive to seal the deal with 2 minutes to go in the game.   IC tried to ice the kicker twice calling time out but the end result was a 26 - 24 Win.

Nice to get one against the Bombers.

Go Warriors!

Sorry to jump in so late but did anyone at the IC game wonder why IC didn't use the time outs to stop the clock to give themselves an opportunity to drive back for a win instead of using them to ice the kicker???  Seemed odd to me unless I am missing something.

That's good news thanks. Crossing my fingers he's close or at 100 percent. Nose guard while not a high profile position is I think critical for the success of their defense. Played well as Lou has done frees up the linebackers to make some big plays.

Does anyone have any info on Cortland's injury to one of it's captains who left last weeks game?  Was at the game at Kean and Lou Crispo who plays on the defensive line limped off the field and didn't return.  Think he's a 5th year senior and would be a pretty significant loss if he's still out or not 100%.  Not sure how deep the team is on the D line.  The player that replaced him was pretty small relative to Crispo and seemed to be getting tossed around quite a bit by Kean's O line.  Hoping Crispo is ok and will return or if not, that Cortland has some options.

I won't be able to make it up to Cortland this week but it looks like there might be a video link on the Cortland website.  Haven't tried that yet but hoping it will work. Anyone know if the video streams are watchable or do they freeze up?  If so, will have to settle for listening to the game on line.
