Just heard that the Poets fired Kirk Jellerson...various rumors as to why, not sure what to believe. In my opinion it is a good thing for that struggling program, he was a bit of a nut case, just my two cents...

I have visited all the Stadiums and here's my opinion:
1. Chapman - the best looking of all the stadiums, it has the look of a stadium you would find at a bigger school.
2. Cal Lu - is nice, but kinda has that squeezed in, cracker box feel.
3. Redlands- Nice old school stadium.
3. Whittier- Same as above
3. Oxy - Same as above
and the rest...

The Whittier offense looked pretty good last week in beating up Puget Sound. Nice QB play to go along with some really good receivers. It should be a good competitive game. Will not be surprised if the "shoes" change hands. GO POETS !!!

The Poets reported to camp this week. Reports say they have a former OK State wide receiver in camp. In 2009 he had 12 receptions and 4 TD's in BIG 12 play. I just hope they can find someone to get him the ball......

The teams have been announced. Just curious, when the coaches vote are they voting on the performance for the entire season or just the conference games ??
Thanks

When will the All-Conference teams be announced? What criteria do they use? Do they use the stats from the entire season or only the conference games? I am kinda new to this.....
Thanks

I was at the game, and it will be one to be remembered. I did not take my video camera with me and I am kicking myself. If anyone was there and has game footage, I am mainly interested in the overtime periods, I would pay to get a copy.
