There seems to be some dissent among the Blugold faithful on this hire:

I like Drake.  He brings some personality to the position.  I don't get that from the other candidates at all.  I think the next coach has to have that so they can get some buzz going around the community for the program.

I think it is down to Drake and Siverling......I think someone with ties to the program is going to be the difference maker in this decision. 

Oliver Drake (Ashford University) is a finalist for the UWEC job..........he would be a great fit.

As an alumni I can say that I don't think Gardow has much support.

Oliver Drake.....good hard working young coach with DIII experiece as an assistant @ UWEC and 6yrs at Wartburg before taking his NAIA DII Ashford team to the National Tourney in his first year this past season.
