I think not commenting on Fontbonne's play is a good idea....can you imagine what an emotional roller coaster this has been for those young men....much less for the McKinney family.  What a sad night  :(

What are your thoughts for the tournament?  Do you think Webster can win it all?

Hopefan....the inside scoop would have been IF I told you where he had to be!! ;D

My "source"....not Denny.......said that there will be more information coming about Coach McKinney's health which could be what the retirement talk now is about.  I have talked to a couple of the current players and not a one of them said there was ever talk about him retiring or resigning at the end of the year (prior to this last health incident).....so either the rumor isn't true or it was top secret.

Either way it doesn't really matter because both him and his family needs everyone's support and prayers right now.  Wishing you the very best Coach McKinney and family.

He didn't get there until half time.......heard his girlfriend tell a parent that he had somewhere to be at 6 but didnt get in until 7 and then they got lost.

Agree that Hopefan needs to get to Principia.

Also think that it was nice to see Denny and allamerican have a good conversation no matter what the subject was. ;)

Heard that Fontbonne JV played last night....if in fact that is correct, anybody know how the game went?

At least the snow was good for something!

Question to the general readership... if a fan, a knowledgeable fan, has a reasonable thought that a player has a questionable eligibility status, what should they do?

1) nothing, it's none of the fan's business
2) yap about it on this site, accomplishing nothing
3) report it to the school's AD
4) report it to the SLIAC commissioner
5) call the NCAA and describe the situation to verify that it is outside of the rules, then proceed to number 3 or 4
6) keep it to themselves so as not to embarrass the player and create waves at the school....

In response to this question from yesterday.....in my opinion if the fan is reasonably sure then I would think they should do #5 to verify and then call the schools AD #3 and then if not satisfied with the answer proceed to #4...again just my opinion.

hopefan it's a shame you didn't make it to Spalding Saturday because I would have liked to hear your story about that game.  Anybody get to the other games? Saw that Webster only beat Eureka by 5....that surprised me.

Just how does that Karma thing work anyway???

hope....sadly we are the same era!

If you are going to be making many stops on the way down then yes it probably would be close to 4 1/2.  I generally stick to 5 miles over the limit unless I am in a really big hurry to a game. ;)

Not sure where you live but it is just at 4 hours from the St. Louis area....however I'm sure they would love to see you at the Prin/Fontbonne game tomorrow! :)
