Emma, almost every attempted run up the middle was stopped by the Falcon D. Their Dline outplayed the WW Oline decisively. As it was, time of possession was slightly in favor of WW. Had they kept the ball on the ground, they might have given it up sooner and given UWRF more opportunities. I'm going with improved Falcon D.

Cant figure out why WW offense, except for obvious difference in QB play, was so ineffective vs RF D, ranked low in conference stats. Improvement I guess.

Just hope win vs WW does not affect play vs Lax next week! Easy to play poorly following big win!

When do the WIAC coaches meet to decide predicted order of finish this season, among other things?

RF over EC 73 - 21. Sets up RF vs. WW at RF next Saturday.Blaha out in second Q. with 8 minutes left and an injury. Score 42 - 0 at time. 8 minutes later it was 42 -21. Falcons shut out EC second half. Blaha was dressed and on field. Don't know what kind of injury sustained but evidently he could have played in second half.Fitzgerald scored one TD rushing, one passing as backup QB. Frank Daniels scored two rushing td's as 3rd QB.

Blaha out of game with 5 minutes left in 3rd Q. Fitzgerald comes in, plays rest of game at QB, ends up as leading rusher w/ 112 yds or so.

Palum had it right: RF D was key in win. Falcons missed many opportunities to score, often inside the 10 yd line, with 105 yds in penalties and 3 lost fumbles. Platteville may not lose again. But I wouldn't bet much on it.
Stout should get into top 25 rankings after win over Oshkosh.

RF out statisticized Oshkosh in every category except turnovers. Falcons had 2 ints and a fumble. Titans had zero.

65-0 win for UWRF over Belhaven.Thought it would be closer.Thought Walker said they were favored to win their conference. Know they were definitely out-sized. Blaha played only first couple of series in second half. He passed for 3 td's.Temperature "felt like" 96, according to announcers. Actual temp 91.

Palum--Pville at RF 9/27 will be a good one. RF will need to get better on D in order to win it. Falcons could not stop either Alma or Coe. Both have very strong offenses.

Falcons run 92 plays, Coe 70 something in 59-47 win over a good Coe team. Kaleb Blaha rushed for 234 yds, passed for 335 and had a hand in 7 td's. Was WIAC player of the week last week. Will not repeat even though he played better today.

As you may have seen, RF over a good Alma team 45-33. Blaha held in check running but passed for 5 td's, on 28/47 completions and a 161 qb rating, as I remember
