I have been waiting for this one for a few days now......  (Sing along if you would like)

Let's see if MajorTom comes back on here and gives respect.

haha I didn't really wasn't intending to disrespect anyone with my opinion on me thinking Chicago would keep it close and make a game of it.  I never said Wabash wasn't good or were gonna lose.  I just thought with the guys they had from last year and being a big home game they keep it within 10.  Hats off to Wabash for winning so big.

I'm flattered you were thinking about me the last couple of days ;)

should have explained myself a little better but watching a few CMU games that year I remember saying to myself "if someone stops the run, CMU will be in trouble".  The ball control definitely helped you guys out that year and had a really good defense. If I remember correctly there was a pretty amazing hit their strong safety had that resulted in a pick in F&M game that awed me. I don't think Chicago will win but I think they'll make a game out of it.

didn't think i'd be talking about that much UAA ball but oh well

don't assume i'm a chicago fan.  I've seen them play, i'm not being a homer.  I'm not even a UAA guy.  I didn't see the Concordia game or Elmhurst game but I think the score will probably be a lot closer than people think.  Maybe I'll eat my words but I think the Chicago is a little more talented than OWU and will keep it relatively close.  If there were real vegas line and it was a Chicago +10 line I'd throw some money down on the maroons.

In 06 i remember seeing both CMU and Millsaps play in the regular season and knew CMU would be in trouble.  Millsaps had some pretty good athletes that year especially on D (Their front 7 were pretty big and athletic).  The SCAC however ain't quite what it used to be.....

I think Chicago will turn some heads this week.  I guess you could call it a "yardstick" game but I think they're decent enough on defense to keep it close.  I think the big thing will be if Wabash shoots themselves in the foot.  Chicagos defense is undersized but they are pretty athletic and move around alot and they got playmakers on offense.  It'll be closer than a lot of people think.

From what I understand the baseball field at Chillicothe is a pretty nice field, its a minor league stadium and I believe it has field turf (Easier maintenance especially when there's crappy weather like we had this past spring).  That probably played a factor into why they are playing there.

Not a big Hiram fan or anything but was wondering if anyone had any idea who they scrimmaged and how they looked.  From what I heard they had a pretty good recruiting class.

Scrimmages should be coming up here soon I was wondering who, where and when some of the OAC teams were scrimmaging?
