Good Evening Mr. Sellmeyer,
Where can we find your article? There are a few diehards on this message board. I'm sure Hopefan was a big help. He has the best understanding of the tie-breakers and has seen the most games. Thanks for your interest. Good Luck.

FU made it interesting for WU. Actually a free throw away from stealing one. Good Luck to all the teams down the stretch!!!

FYI... Hopefan did attempt to reach Josh, emails went back and forth, but schedule conflicts prohibited us from talking prior to his deadline.... I was hoping we might chat at last night's game, but he had other commitments and couldn't attend.....

Denny,

The column didn't happen, unfortunately. Like Hopefan said, we talked in emails, but didn't have enough time to do an interview because of my deadline. No one else contacted me. I left a message with our other sports columnist (who will be writing his column for our issue next week), and he might write a similar column to the one I was planning on doing.

Hi everyone,

As WU Fan said in an earlier post, my name is Josh Sellmeyer and I'm one of the editors of Webster University's student-run newspaper, The Journal. I write a biweekly sports column for Webster's paper, titled "The Sporting Insider." I asked WU Fan to post for me because I was waiting for my account to be approved by the administrator. It was recently approved, so I figured I should post something myself so that you all know I'm a real person haha.

Because the SLIAC tournaments for both men's and women's basketball are so wide open this year, I'd like to dedicate my upcoming column to this topic. What I want to do with the column is get your guys' opinions of which teams you think are most likely to win the SLIAC tourneys, and why. I'd also like to know who you think the dark horses are to win the tourneys. You all know SLIAC basketball as well as anyone, and I'd love to hear your predictions regarding what's going to occur in the conference these next couple weeks.

If you'd be willing to give me your insights for this column, I'd greatly appreciate it. In all likelihood, I would just interview you over the phone. You can email me your contact information, or you can just post your information on this board, and I'll get in touch with you. My email address is JoshSellmeyer@charter.net.

Hopefan, I've been told you're sort of the ringleader of this board, so I'd especially love to hear from you. And if anyone else would like to contribute, please let me know. Denny, thanks so much for the kind words. I really enjoyed interviewing your father and writing the story about him. I'm glad that you liked it.

Thanks everyone!

LAST CALL: I have to write this newspaper column tonight, as our paper comes out tomorrow evening. I have yet to hear from anyone. If you'd be interested in being interviewed for this column, send me an email at JoshSellmeyer@charter.net. I think it would be awesome to let our readers know about you guys -- the passion you have for the SLIAC and just the existence of this message board.

One other thing that would be neat to include in the column: Would some of you mind posting your predictions for the SLIAC tournaments for both men's and women's basketball? I realize the teams and seedings have yet to be determined, but it would be interesting to see what you guys think will happen these next couple weeks. Thanks!
