I apologize to all of my fans for the delayed reaction since Saturday...

Huge one for NCC tonight who dearly need to get back on track and get off to far better starts than the past couple of games. Carthage may not be the best in the CCIW but if the Cards can put the hurt on em and gain some momentum here, I like them getting back on track for the home stretch.


Still "don't believe....what I just sawww" after that Saturday game at IWU but it felt so good to watch that collapse. Although a nice little win from them over Augie tonight would shake things up.. Only a matter of time in this league.

Hopefully number 32 for the Cardinals can keep up this dominating stretch for NCC and continues to make a play for some hardware at the end of the year. But Alex Sorenson should eat up multiple 6 foot 3 kids out there for the RedMen.
I like the Cardinals big tonight, unless Stevie D wants to suit up and show Young Raridon who's boss. Lol. But won't complain if we can get some OT or some type of thriller either.. 

 

What a week for NCC to be cracking the Top 25..lol..  . Someone get me a Miller Lite, stat.... really looking forward to this upcoming week against the Viqueens and the Illinois Wesleyan's. NCC could really do some damage and make an even bigger name for themselves with a couple road wins. That f***ing buzzer beater to Benedictine sucks big time at the moment. Anyway...would much rather have had these games flip flopped and played the Titans Wednesday & Augie Saturday but what can we do..

Young Raridon having the game he did against Wheaton is going to pay huge dividends here coming up I think for my Cards. Him being around these road battles for around 8 years now may even payoff greater for NCC than the 25&10 he can provide any given night..

The matchup's this week for the Cards could be real intriguing and Todd definitely has some figuring to do.. But I don't see why the Cards length shouldn't effect every aspect of each games..
Pick to click: Connor Raridon. Will give Tayvian Johnson baskets just like the big bro used too.. And I am sure you all remember him 

Welp, yet another shellacking for the NC Cards in the hangar last night.. After fending off a scrappy team early, if they can continue to put weak teams away last night, like I said, look out ..! But hey lets at least play someone notable first.

NCC definitely needs the bench to pick it up some here soon , but if the starting guards are going to be shooting a combined 50% from three each game anddddd locking up the likes of Juwan and TJ Griffin,,,, good luck to all small guards out there..
Chang will find it and Honn will be there for the big games no doubt. Look out for Jack Bronec to dunk on someone very soon.

For all the good going on though Saturday at King arena will be a nice test for the Cards.. First high pressure conference game on the road, with the bible boys goin crazy.. "Can't wait!!" -- Bart Scott.

North Park could be in for a long next 13 games based on last night .....Especially if Juwaan and Robinsun gonna pout all season....

NCC could definitely slide up there and grab that 2 spot with a few bounces in some road games ! Couple of birds gonna be in the top 2. Jays n Cards.
Sleeper CCIW POY pick, Kevin Honn.. 15 , 9 & 5 to start conference play is huge.
Although once Alex S(c)orenson puts some buckets on those Augie and Elmhurst big boys he may run away with the hardware.

I give NCC all the credit for keeping IWU out of sinc tonight.. They just didn't look comfortable with NCC's defensive pressure and made some very questionable plays with the ball. Big props to PAT Rourke (thats his name, not Jack Rourke) and Jack Burchett for huge nights and boosting the Cards when fouls had been holding other players down. Also, his dunk, on a high school teammate by the way, was really a turning point for the Cards. Jack Merrithey also had two huge threes during NCC's run in which Derek Raridon was on the bench.

Lets keep it rolling Cards in the Elite 8. The goatees live on for the Cardinals!!

The Hangar is looking awesome for this Sweet 16 game. Lets hope the place is packed and all sweaty just like an NCC v. IWU game should be.

Both teams seem very ready for this 40 minute war ahead of them..

Also Brandon Williams had one helluva game to really propel NCC. Huge 13 points and some big offensive boards.

NCC was just the more clutch team down the stretch with Tiknis and Kmiec hitting huge threes late.
That was a crazy game between what could have been the top 2 teams in the tourney.

It must have been NCC's goatees that put them over the top.

I feel NCC matches up very well with the defending champs of UWW..

UWW should truly be no match up for the size & strength of NC. They might have a bunch of offensive stars that NCC must defend but they have shown the capability to lock down some very good players. I would like to see UWW guard NCC.

I see NCC getting the 'W' in Lisle and hopefully getting another game vs IWU at the Hangar.
