nescac1 ... thanks for the info. I can't wait to see these recruits develop in the next 4 years. Yes, they are tall.

Bucket, Thanks for the update. It's good to hear about former CAC players continuing their playing careers at the next level.

Great story. I am glad Maker supported his move. However, Maker would not have been supportive if he didn't make the move to Marist. Kevin App would have had an easier first year at the helm, but App seem to be very aggressive with his first set of recruits. I think they will surprise many. Can't wait.

BUCKET - Condolences to Mike Maker's family on this tragedy.

NESCAC1 - Prep School? I agree that Oni is probably aiming higher. Williams education is hard to pass up. In my view, the only way it makes sense is if he ends up at a high-academic D1 school. From all indications, he is a late bloomer and had a monster senior year. After that, he might have decided to play D1, who knows. Although he is a versatile and dynamic player, I believe the Ephs has enough depth in the incoming class to make up for the loss. It's better for him not to enroll at Williams than to come in looking to transfer later on. In terms of recruiting, D1 schools know all about player movements, decisions, transfers, etc; so it will be tough for schools to pass up on the combination of skill and grades. I believe the Ephs will be fine.

I thought he was on his way to Worchester after a brief stop in some prep school. Why prepping? Grades?

Jackson - Not grades. I believe Oni just decided to play D1, otherwise Williams would not have accepted him and the Ivys won't be offering him (See Jayhawk's post above). I have seen people prep due to late decisions. This might be the case here. I am excited about the Ephs new recruits and the new lineup.

Nescac1, thanks for the update. It seems Williams are going to compete for the next season and future. While they might not have Miye Oni, who was their projected top recruit, they should be very good as a group. On the comparison with Duncan Robinson situation, Robinson was able to transfer due to a coaching change. If Oni had enrolled, he will have a difficult time transferring out. That would have been bad for the team dynamic. Anyway, I am happy that the future is bright for the Ephs.

Wow, the Ephs are loading up. The coach seems to be going with the run and gun offence with a lot of perimeter shooting. They should be in the top half of NESCAC table next season. I believe they have 3 wings, 1 guard and one post player in the incoming class.

Great highlight. It will be tough to fill Daniel Wohl's shoes next year. No disrespect, but I don't see anyone on the roster that can do that at the moment. Maybe someone will develop in the next couple of years.
