No room for the timid tonight at the Shirk, on court or in the standing room only crowd!

Agree with Q, a very big game at The Shirk tonight.  Hope the IWU faithful turnout bigtime, even in the cold, and produce the first 2,000+ crowd of the season tonight. (already Wednesday here in HK).  Agree that TO and rebounding battle will be crucial in a game where every possession will be needed.  Let's hope the Titans play like they have been playing of late, from the perimeter, the paint and all the role players too.  If so, I think this game will turn out well for the home team.  I'd say IWU 69, NCC 61.  Also seems absences due to illness or injury more likely to be a factor for NCC than for the Titans.

Go TITANS!!!  Let's finished the first go'round in CCIW play 7-0!

I'd say you need to pick up some lottery entries!

I'm not surprised.

And so it goes, in the chase to a National Crown, a plethora of D3 Academic All-Americans appear in the transfer list.

Greg Sager, do you know a Joe Elick who is now a pastor at Roseau Evangelical Covenant Church in Roseau, MN.  He went to seminary at North Park and we were at his church this morning.  An excellent service and sermon, our sister-in-law goes to his church.
I am Larry Irwin.
Thanks.

I will ask again, did anyone have any success in watching the NCAA live video from Salem or Holland on an ipad2?  We had no trouble with the video from the colleges prior to the NCAA
feeds, we even paid the $3.99 for Div 1 hoping that would provide the background programs needed to watch any NCAA.
We might just have a flawed ipad2 and will visit Best Buy tomorrow.

Help!  I just got an ipad2 and easily get the D3Hoops feed, hit video for the IWU games, the NCAA
Site loads with a black screen.  No picture, am I missing an app or program needed?

Yes, I get confused with my "stooges."   Not Mitt, Newt and Rick?   :)

Oh well, back to basketball.

In my book, the 3 stooges are Obama, Reed and Pelosi!  They take the cake with goofy
ideas, leaving things in a mess and no one's should be laughing!

Will there be any video for the 2 games tomorrow night from NCC?

Last night's T on Giovanine was for a loud BS directed at the refs. He was actually pretty subdued for most of the game based on the scoreline however.

Also, there was a cheer from the students last night that is sure to entertain or irk some in this room. "Worse than North Park" went on for a while. Regardless of that, it was good to see a semi full King Arena on a Tuesday, the fans were up for the game and knew what was at stake.

The tv crew kept talking about the huge crowd, from what we could see it was anything but
huge.  I've seen more at Golden Corral at the chocolate mountain!

"I think that his players should get more technicals, but not for salty language or dramatic gestures with their clothing, a la their head coach. I think that his players should get more technicals for dispensing forearms to an opponent's solar plexus, for grabbing an opponent's shirt and throwing him out of bounds, for kneeing him in the back of the thigh, and for the dozens of other dirty little tricks that've come to characterize the Augie program we all know and love."

And so, where do you think the "look the other way" or "wink, wink" comes from?  GG is responsible to clean this up, and until someone cleans GG up, it will continue.  Don't you think what the players "dispense" gains an advantage which contributes to the GG "success"?

It was my IMHO, not wishy-washy as some suggest.

Wow! What a comeback for the Titans, and what the heck happened at the end of the game? It appeared to me that there was still some time left when the ball was knocked out of bound.

IMHO, the jacket toss by GG early in the game, his continued antics, intimidated the officials to the point that they were more than happy to get off the floor at the end of the game.  They would have to deal with GG one more time, perhaps another technical?
The league should deal with this coach once and for all.  At a minimum, Augustana should address his actions with a stern hand!  Perhaps he should journey back to D1 or the pros where players play for money (tongue in cheek, D1).
During the IL/MI ST game last eve, the announcers stated the national head of officials had sent an email telling the officals to get tough on unsportsmanship like behavior.  This warning should be applied at all levels, not just the coaches and players, but also to the fans.
