Quote from: unionpalooza on November 22, 2025, 04:09:28 PMPatch had some kind of stomach bug, and was puking all over the sideline to start the second half.
Yikes valiant effort by the LL OPTY.

Kid is just the ultimate competitor. Seriously.

Agreed, it was a very disappointing day of "technical difficulties" abound. I just let it go and am grateful to have had the live stats, but man it would have been nice to watch our games.

Co greats to Cortland on another solid season. Obviously disappointed with today's outcome but still a strong season and I'm sure the Red Dragons will be back.

Mulenberg moves on with a gritty impressive W against a never give up Union team. I am so proud of the way Union fought but in the end the fumble and int cost them. Muhlenberg made some big plays, capitalized on the Union mistakes, and made fewer overall mistakes today. They deserved to win and I am wholeheartedly rooting for the Mules next week. Absolutely no shame in losing to a great team and program in Muhlenberg.

I will say I was so disappointed as the entire game was unwatchable because of technical difficulties. Man that was frustrating but mistakes happen and overall I'm grateful I could at least follow the stats from start to finish.

Congrats to Muhlenberg on the win and Union on a great season!

Patch intercepted and that will be the game.

So proud of Union and the fight they showed. They made more mistakes than Muhlenberg and to me, that was the difference. Fumble and int cost the Union, but Patxh was a warrior and I couldn't be more proud.

I really hope RPI and Hobart win.

Definitely rooting for Muhlenberg moving forward and going to Alliance. The Mules made some big plays when they needed to and that was a big time 32 yard FG to go up 8. Lots of credit to the Mules.

Susquehanna scores 35-24 4Q. Susquehanna offense really feeling it now.

Union trying to get the ball back. Myles driving 3+ mins left. So proud of Union.

Union scores on a big TD PASS FROM patch to Rivera. Union gets stopped on the 2-point conversion. 31-26 Mules. Union D needs to step up now.

Union fighting but about to give up another TD. Union fighting but just can't stop the Miles right now. As I'm typing Muhlenberg gets in.

Got to give it to the Mules, they are moving the ball and scoring.

Susquehanna goes up 28-17 with Elrich playing like he was hyped to play from the start of the season.

Nothing like following an entire game on stat track...with that said watching a great match up between Susquehanna and W&J. Sus up 21-17 and driving in the 3rd.

Did Patch get hurt? Saw Boston came in and threw the pick that lead to the score. Tough on a backup.

Patch back in now.

XRED with the Union game not being on I tuned into Springfield/Cortland only to have that turned off for technical difficulties. So frustrating!

Game is on ESPN...but not coming on. Incredibly frustrating.

Quote from: 8i Technique on November 21, 2025, 03:48:52 PMJumping back on with CC pics for week one of the 2025 post-season:

Muhlenberg 34 - Union 28
I anticipate a tight battle throughout the day, with Union taking an early lead. Muhlenberg turns to its big-play offense in the 2nd half and holds on for a 3rd trip to Alliance in the past 7 seasons (this time, in November). Mahaffey remains the wild card in this equation---hoping to see him running on all cylinders![/b]

CMU 42 - Misericordia 14
Too much talent in Pittsburgh. The Tartans send their senior class off a with a memorable win to close out a season full of 'what ifs' and 'almosts'.

Dickinson 21 - Del Val 24
I absolutely think (and want) DC to find a way to win...but I will give the nod to a quality Del Val team in Doylestown.

Ursinus 34 - Leb Val 20
Back to back big wins in Collegeville for the Bears as their defense continues to cause chaos in the backfield. I'm taking Rios for 3+ TFLs and Machado for 3+ TD passes.

I think this is a very solid assessment. Honestly, I'm hoping Union can keep the game competitive. I have a ton of respect for Muhlenberg and I think they will jump out on U and it'll be tough for Union to come back/keep up.

Union certainly has a couple of playmakers and a line that has played very well as of late. The D has also played well, kind of a bend but not break type D against tough competition.

Let's hope for a competitive game with NO INJURIES today. Regardless of winner id just like to send a healthy fired up team head out to Alliance next week. Congrats to both Union and Muhlenberg on great seasons.

Quote from: Machiavelli on November 21, 2025, 03:19:06 PMI wasn't gonna do predictions, but probably the last(at least for the LL) predictions of the year.

Mach's pre-Turkey Predictions:

Union - 24
Muhlenburg - 42
I think the Mules start fast and Union can't keep up. I won't be mad if I'm wrong here, but Muhlenburg's body of work is pretty impressive.

RPI - 42
St. John Fisher - 24
Honestly, Fisher's W against Brockport stands out to me, due to losing to Rochester and barely beating the Larries. Makes me feel they are not great. Biggest fear in this one is will we get a fired up RPI building towards next year and wanting to end on a positive note, or a sulking, secondary-less, offense-less, uninspired performance? Hopefully they will show up and take care of business.

Hobart - 42
SUNY Maritime - 24
Hobart should mop up this game, but they've been all over the map this year. SUNY has a couple 'good losses', but they really haven't beaten anyone. I'd like to see Hobart(and RPI) rep for the LL in these consolation games.

There it is. I'm not picking Union, but I AM routing for them. The cowbell can eat sh!t still.

By far my favorite post of the year...by far.

I am going into tomorrow with the perspective that Union is playing with house money. I did not expect an LL title and/or NCAA birth this year from the Dutchmen. With that said they certainly surprised me on a couple of occasions (IC and RPI) and I do believe they have a shot tomorrow. IMHO the offensive line will be the key to Union's success. I do believe the athleticism of Patch as a pure runner is impressive and can give any team fits. To me there is absolutely no question that his accuracy has improved markedly from last season. He is the LL OPOY. What Union can't have tomorrow is drives consisting of 2 downs of stuffed Patch runs and 3rd and longs. I'm guessing the Mules have watched enough film from last week to isolate that empty backfield set and force U into something different. Who knows? Will we see the Union O set up with an RB next to Patch or empty look from last week? I'm guessing a combination of both.

I believe the Union D will give up some early points and the O will have to keep pace until the game slows a bit. I have always been a fan of Muhlenberg and respect that program and how tough they've player over the last decade or so. Tomorrow will be a tall order but man I'd love to see Union play Mount Union just for the experience. I believe Drach has ideas/hopes of turning this Union program into another tier of program. I'd love for him to face a team like Mount and see exactly what that looks like.

I absolutely echo Bartman's thoughts on Hobart and RPI. I am a huge Pumpkinhead and Engineer fan come tomorrow. I'm very proud of the LL and the type of football we play in this league.
