If Dorien transferred due to distance, he wasn't saving much time, maybe 5-10 minutes tops.  Had to be other reasons he left.  He would have no doubt been a starter this year for UMHB.

Hated to see Morris enter the portal, he was important piece on defense and JJ Davis.  Now, when these guys enter the portal, if they have no takers, can they come back to the their previous school?

Well, this was the last year for the double round robin but they will have to find 5 Non-conf games instead of 4 next year.

Of those 8 games listed above, I see that 7 are realistic, but I'm thinking only 4-5 of those actually happen.  Will it be enough to lift UMHB.......what were the odds like last year?

I'd rather have an ugly win than a loss.  As long as they keep putting up W's, I don't think anyone really cares how crappy the offense is, BUT, sure takes a lot of pressure and fatigue off the defense when the offense can stay out on the field longer than 3-4 plays at a time.

Time to man up!  Who wants to play, who just wants to go through the motions.  Time to open a can of whoop ass.  3 games they scored 7 points or less------------unacceptable even at the middle school level!!!!!!

Defense needs to be more aggressive, offense needs to be more aggressive----------no more Dallas Cowboys style football.  During the HSU game, commentators talked about how UMHB does not really blitz-----they use 4 man front-----obviously this year, the personnel is not good enough to put good pressure on QB like years past-----add a 5th or send some quick LB's.  You have an offensive line that averages a little over 300lbs yet your rushing game sucks--------is it the plays, the scheme, or the players-----------from what I have noticed, offensive line has done a pretty good job of pass blocking with quick passes but run blocking-----it's like they hit one guy and think, "Well, I got my one guy, I'm done." Keep plowing through them!!!  Still having costly penalties, coming out flat.  Frustrating!

Also, go 4th and goal from the one and can't punch it in----------that's the o-line and RB

Got to get the costly penalties and stupid personal fouls/UNS taken care of.  Those killed so many drives and kept so many opponents drives going.

Penalties are killing them.  Too many stupid penalties---block in the back, false start, holding, personal fouls----no discipline
