He's no Nate Kmic (yet), but I have fond memories of a stout and white Freshman RB bursting onto the scene and that worked out pretty well for the Purple Raiders.

I went back and checked the Game Notes for the RB Depth Chart for all the games this year.   Marietta is the ONLY game where Bo was listed as the starter and Minner as the backup.   All the other ones Minner was the starter and Bo was the backup.

Interesting conundrum with Bo getting limited touches vs Marietta.

some interesting notes:

Bo Bokman is 2nd in the OAC in total yards per game (behind Ashby)....but he got 2 carries against Etta.  And he is now listed at RB2.

Cannan McCarthy (the florida speedster talked about on here in the offseason) is now listed as the starting SPUR. 

Rickie Williams is now listed as a starting CB (was the starting SPUR)

Jaeson Anderson is not listed among the top 4 CBs (was a starting CB)


but it's also a Mount game notes, so take it with a grain of salt

I wonder why Bokman didn't play more vs. Etta?

Slow pitch Softball questions.

My biggest concern is that Maloney seems to throw into coverage quite often this year. I'm not sure if the reads are different or what's going on, but he seems to force a lot of passes to receivers who are not open.

I've also heard that when Burke came in, he completely changed the terminology of the offense.

Obviously that's his right to do as an offensive coordinator, but I would think he would want to adjust his scheme to what was working and just tweak things.

But maybe he thought it needed a total reset.
