Sometime next week they may switch to daily updates.  Last year they started daily updates on October 26th, but I wouldn't be surprised if they start that a little earlier this year.

Here are the week 5 USC rankings: National - Poll 5 - October 13, 2026

One through Six didn't change but with Colby's two losses they go from #7 down to #24, and Pomona-Pitzer, Vassar, and TCNJ all slot up one position going from #8, #9, & #10 to now #7, #8, & #9 respectively.

Hartford (was #17) and Trinity TX (was #25) drop out of the top 25, and coming into the top 25 are Wesleyan at #23 and Pugent Sound at #25.

Interesting top 25 (based on USC) non conference matchup today at noon between #7 Colby traveling south from Maine to Georgia to take on #21 Emory.  It was the first ever matchup between these two teams - so you have the NESCAC taking on the UAA mid day!

Colby coming off their 2-3 loss two days ago at #26 Wesleyan would get upset at Emory 0-2!  Tough back to back losses on the road (long road between these two games!) for Colby.  Both of Emory's goals happened in the first 21 minutes of the game. 

Wash U for the first time this year has all three rankings locked up at #1:

The Zimmerman twins were impressive for W&L.  Nice win on the road.

I am going to try and catch it live online - I'm interested to see if W&L can bounce back from their tie.  Sewanee is no easy opponent so they could have their hands full on the road (long road!).

So I have been looking through the top 25 of the USC rankings and where they stand in the NPI and Massey rankings.

By far the two most unusual teams are Pomona-Pitzer and Messiah.  Here are their rankings:

It's like nobody knows what to do with these two schools!

BusyBee the NPI for Pomona-Pitzer got even worse! 

When I mentioned their discrepancy in rankings they were showing at #51 NPI.  However, I think the NPI got readjusted because of what ziggy mentioned  regarding Azusa Pacific a few days ago. 

So the win against Azusa has been taken out of their NPI calculation and that dropped PP even further down to #62 and then on today's new NPI rankings they are now showing at #71!  That does seem really low to me.
