Former D3 player here, I am sharing some information on an event I am helping run in the DC/Maryland/Virginia area, if anyone is interested. Public vs Private HS all-star type of game in Arlington, Virginia. A variety of players were included, from D1 to those not even competing in college. 9 D3 future D3 players will be competing alongside some of the best talent in the area. Does anyone have any information on the host site selection? I understand you must apply and have adequate resources to host three teams. But is ranking accounted for when selecting the host site?

Where does a team like Washington College fall for an at-large bid after the Centennial had 5 teams in the tournament last year and this year they finished second in the conference ahead of JHU who has been ranked all season?

Although they don't have the best record outside of the conference they had success in the tournament last year and have had a lot of ties this season which hurt their win total.
