So, to impress the ncaa one year with your SOS you schedule tough  (and far).
Just don't give up 66 points.

Anyone else feel subtle pressure to play 10 games?
I know for years there has been a desire by the fans, players, some of the coaches, and others to play 10 games.  I have heard a lot of reasons why we don't but don't neccesarily buy into them.  If GFU and Pacific can go far and wide to get a 10th game  home and home so could we.  Playing 9, having one of the preseason games against UMHB and not some pussycat I feel made a difference this year in the seedings and bracket.  Being undefeated, playing 10 games, and going against a decent out of region team would have made the difference.  I am not too concerned this week as I feel HSU will be a good matchup that the CATS can win.  It is just a crime to see how some of the other top ranked teams were seated.  Disapointing at best.

Great preview, Wildcat 11, just great! The CRU will have its hands full with the Cats. I hope UMHB can stand and deliver.

I'm looking forward to returning to McMinnville. I lived there from 1999 to 2006.

Go CRU!
Hi Kelly.  Hope you can drop by the Deluxe tonight or stop by the Tailgates down Lever from the stadium in the morning.  I am sure a lot of Tailgaters will welcome you.  Nice to see you back even though if it is just for a visit.

You can check with COCO and his fire drill team boys ..  :) ready for action tonight.  Warm up the wheels Doc. ;D
Hi DC.  Sounds like you are coming to town.  It will be great to see you in the Big City again.  I am not sure about others, but I for one need to do some socializing this evening so I plan on being at the Big 'D' about 6:30 or a bit later.  Need to start the pre-game festivities and make sure everyone is fired up and ready for the Tailgate and game.

Wc11 Has it right.  Downtown Friday or Saturday night is the place to be.  Besides everything that WC11 mentions, a lot of fans meet at two long time haunts downtown.  The Deluxe at 3rd and Galloway and the Blue Moon on 3rd and Cowls.  These places have been around before i was a kid and that was a long time ago.  The link http://www.downtownmcminnville.com/explore will give you all the info you need.  As Mayor and a good friend of WC11s I would like to welcome you to McMinnville this weekend.Drop by the tailgates south of the stadium and say hello to many of the Wildcat Tailgaters.

Any Cru fans that are headed into McMinnville this weekend.  I highly recommend headed down to 3rd street in Mac.  There are great restaurants, cool stores, multiple wine tasting bars, brew pubs, coffee shops, etc.  I've been around Mac for nearly 20 years and I still loving headed to 3rd street.

Hopefully you will be able to make the Tailgate.  It is always a pleasure to meet someone from another very classy program and school.  Linfield and UMHB are building quite a bit of a friendly rivalry and it looks like it will pick up early next year in pre-season.  Wouldn't have it any other way.  Maybe me and Mrs. Mayorcat can make it down to UMHB.  She has a son that served at Fort Hood and now is in the Houston area.  A good visit down that way during FB season would be appropriate.  Let me know if i can do anything for you while you are in Catville Mayor's town.  Hope to see you Saturday.

Just listened to UMHB Coach Pete Fredenburg on the radio..... that guy is a class act. Enjoyed the interview very much...... talked about the season... playoffs and upcoming game with Linfield. Very good speaker and was straight down the middle.

Enjoyed it!

I've been to a few UMHB games as well as a few Linfield games and I think both programs represent their schools very well. I see too many D1 programs that are an absolute embarrassment to their schools so it's refreshing. I'll be in Oregon for Saturday's contest and I am really looking forward to it.

Spirit that is great news and congratulations! Well wishes with the new child, and a speedy and safe recovery to your wife. I think we can safely say that we on the ASC board side of things from the great state of Texas wish you all of your family the greatest of joy and that you find peace at this time.
Thats Great 86.  Glad to hear everything is fine.  I like the name assuming it is not a Charlotte!  He should be really pleased to have a future Cat named after him.  What an Honor.  I will chug the first one with you Saturday morning.  Give little Brett and the wife my best.

Thanks a ton. Means a lot. All joking aside, it's nice to see such goodwill between the fans of two Rolls Royce programs in d3. Everyone on my end, including baby Brett Elliott, is a bit tired. We will be getting our rest before beer chugging time commences Saturday morning, 5am sharp!

Due to 'the great baby watch' of 2015, I've been downright docile (some would say boring) at the two playoff tailgates/games. It now appears the this newest addition to the wildcat family wants to make an appearance and we are headed to the hospital. My daughter apparently wants to be around for another victory over the cru, and if she enters the world in the next little bit, I will be at the game Saturday and celebration beers will be in order!!!
Good Luck 86.  I am hoping that  this is the one, but who knows.  Keep us all informed.  good luck you, mom, and the Little86.  Keep us up to date.  Another new Wildcat for the game.  Lets hope.  the first beer is on me!!

Since d3 doesn't require any injury reports, and no one from inside the cats brain trust will (rightfully) say anything, trying to guess whether Riddle will play is like trying to guess how drunk I'll get at the tailgate- you just never know, and you'll have to show up to see.
I am now taking bets on both 86s condition at the tailgate and the potential of the arrival of his little one.  Hope only one of them happens Saturday.  See you all at the tailgate!

Just took a quick glance at the game notes. Linfield hit 70 spots 3 times this year.  I don't think they scored less than 40 points this season.  Not a warm fuzzy feeling when your defense has struggled.  Nothing to lose this week so who knows what we will have dialed up defensively!

Offensively we can score, but on the flip side those Cats have a knack at keeping people out of the end zone.  Hopefully we can hit our stride and put enough on the board to keep it competitive.  Only time will tell, but even so I'm just being an overly optimistic homer.

Happy Thanksgiving and good luck Red Dragons!
we only scored 24 in one game but we won it by 24....
I am sure Cortland will be ready and put up a fight.  You don't get this far by not doing it.  Although The Cats have put up big numbers, what is scary is that they doing it with the majority of their 1st string Offense and 1st string defense not playing in parts of the 3rd qtr and most of the 4th qtr.  I would hate to imagine how may points they would have hung on some of the teams they played if the starters were in the game more.  But then, that is not Linfield's style.  Once a game is in hand, let the rest of the team play.  Most of Linfields backups have more playing time than a lot of the other Northwest Conference starters.

really looking forward to meeting some of the Cland boosters.  See you on Saturday at the Catdome.

dlip is following desertcat's lead in wishing everyone and their families a safe and happy Thanksgiving! Best of luck to Linfield this weekend and in the future!
Like others, the Mayor of Catville would like to wish all the board posters, others that have an interest in D3 sports, and the team, staff, and players of Cortland a very Happy Thanksgiving.  I hope the Cortland team and followers have a great and easy charter to Portland and we look forward to having you in our fine City.

I'm thinking the Cats take care of business like they should and they stay at home until the semis.
I totally agree with Gren, but we need to take care of business Saturday against the Lutes, then the fun begins.

Win lots $$$$$ 8-) have a safe trip Mayor. :)
Will do DC.  I look forward to your next trip.  I will have a sip of Big Blue and raise one for you this weekend.

Well now...that seems ok to me!

RR part 2

St. Thomas
Linfield
UWO

Just saw on NCAA Div III.  I would think that St Thomas will go North, Mt. Union East, Linfield West, and who knows about South.  More than likely John Hopkins.  See you all at PLU.  Going up tomorrow, spending some time at a couple of great Casinos and winning some winter travel money I hope
