We have a few days to create an offense that can take advantage of the field position the D and special teams create.  I'd like to think I am cautiously optimistic, buuuut... I'm not.

One thing I could not understand, was like in the last minute of the half, ya'll had some great success throwing it and got down the field to score that field goal, then after halftime it was back to just mainly running the ball.  We did hurt your QB sadly in the second half and took him out of the game, hope he can play next week

Not sure how the NPI numbers would work out for getting 2 OAC at large bids.  I know in the D3 podcast a few times logan hansen listed the conferences most likely to get 2 at large teams in, and the OAC has not been mentioned, yet.  Shame there are less at large bids than last year.  Idk if Logan Hansen ever takes a gander here, but curious if it's even mathematically/realistically possible for us to get two in via at large bids.

Big weekend for the Berg, two week stretch of ONU and Etta, which both I think have good chances of giving the Berg a second lost.  You Mount fans gotta be Polar Bear fans this weekend.  If the berg wins these two, I dont think Cap or Wilma will be taking us down, giving us hopefully our second playoff bid ever, and closing your chance at least for the OAC title.  Good news for ya'll, is it seems like Heidelberg always falls apart on big games when the season seems to be going well

Its that HCAC-OAC crossover agreement, there is one each week for the rest of the season. If I remember correctly Mount opted out of it

If that extra point didn't get blocked, i think ya'll woulda won in OT, be a whole different season, but then to lose to a normally 4th ish place in the OAC Hberg and then this game against Marietta what a weird season

I mean, I can certainly see how Franklin & Marshall vaulted from the unranked to #22.
Afterall, the records of the teams they have defeated is 3-14.

as a Mount homer, I hope that a young Raiders team can gain some confidence as the weeks go on and use the voters as "disrespect" and embrace the "Mount against the world" mentality. 

Unless Berg goes 9-1 for the first time...ever? Mount has everything in the front of them.  Win out and you're in the dance.  I wish I had more confidence in the leadership in the program to use the adversity, but maybe the assistants can make it happen

We went 9-1 in 2012.  Before that 1972 when they went undefeated to win the last non-national championship stagg bowl.  As far as this year maybe not, but 8-2 is still good for a team that was 6-4 last year.

Well they showed some life in the second half.  But no recovering from that disastrous first half.  The field position, the penalties and the turnovers put us in an unrecoverable hole, just couldn't stop the BW rush, got them to fourth down several times but they always seemed to convert, Guess there still is the possibility of 9-1, but I think ONU and Marietta all got a good shot at beating us.

Well I enjoyed the time in the spotlight.  Beating Mount is enough for me, good luck against BW
