Well we are getting the final people were asking for, NCC and UWRF. Should be a good one. Can NCC slow down the UWRF offense? Blaha with 520 passing yards today, 5 TD's and a rushing TD. Back and forth game with JHU until about 45 seconds left when UWRF hit a 79 yd TD. Not sure what JHU was doing on D on that play but exciting finish.

How about football in Illinois today.

These matchups are hard to project with so few crossover opponents. That said, I could see this being one of those semi-final blowouts. JCU's D will have to keep the scoring down like they did against Mount for a close game.

With regard to NCC's ground game, it should be noted that the Cardinals 2nd team RB Sean Allen who averages 5.3 ypc and has 8 TDs, and who was the starter at the beginning of the season, didn't even play. Strongly supporting Donovan McNeal's 144 yards and 3 TDS was Jordan Williams who racked up 90 yards and a TD. If NC would have been at full strength. Williams would have likely been the #3 RB. Gives you an idea as to NCC's depth of talent, having a guy like Jordan able to add such a sizable contribution.

Let's not forget the OL. I seem to recall some questions early in the season. They seem to be performing well.

UWL had 418 total yds, more yards then NCC. UWL had 347 passing yds. UWL WR #19 had 100 yds receiving and 4 TD's.

I think the NCC picks by Roby #2 were huge, stopping a drive and a pick 6 late in first half.

Turnovers could be huge this Saturday too.

I would think UWRF QB is front runner for the Gagliardi trophy.
He not only is throwing the ball all over the place, he has over 1,000 yards rushing this season. He had 26 rushing attempts against St. John's.

NCC 35 UWL 27 Final

The guys wanted Donovan McNeal back and he was back with 149 yds rushing on 12 attempts and a TD.

Next is Bethel who beat UWP 35-24 but there will be no NCC vs. Mount Union match up as
JCU pulled off the upset and knocked out Mount Union.

Wheaton 49  DePauw 24 Final

Wheaton with 483 yds total offense. 293 passing and 190 rushing averaging 5.4 yds a carry.

MU JCU go to OT 7-7

MU gets a FG blocked.

JCU gets down to MU 1, incomplete pass on 3rd and 1 and then misses the FG

2nd OT
JCU gets ball first and hits 39 yd FG

JCU leads 10-7 2nd OT
MU had a 4rth and 2 at JCU 4 and went for it and got stopped.

JCU with the bracket buster beat MU 10-7.
