MWC 2026 composite schedule. Change the date range to 2026 looks like Illinois College @ Elmhurst.

Wartburg vs. Monmouth looks like Monmouth embracing the stronger competition. Although I see they played last year too.

Both Torti and Degner are from California.

I hate to be Debbie Downer, but Degner barely did anything at UChicago.  I highly doubt that USC is expecting much from him.  Will he be a walk on and getting his masters at USC?  Sure.  Will he ever see the field? nope

I don't know what he'll do at USC but he was 1rst team All-MWC. One of the top receivers in the conference.

Looks like John Carroll's WR Tyren Montgomery performed well at the senior bowl.

I don't know if anyone tracked this in the past but is D3 losing more players to FBS schools than usual due to the changes in college football recently? Transfer portal, NIL and now revenue sharing. Some of the schools players went to WI, Penn St. and USC revenue share with players.

there is next to zero % chance of this kid seeing the field in Happy Valley.  Is he on scholarship?  If so, a masters degree from PSU might be worth sitting out your last year of competitive football.  The fifth string QB can't possibly be getting paid all that much

Not sure about scholarship but outside of NIL opportunities Penn St. revenue shares now with players. Everything I read indicates he has a legitimate chance at being the backup. Penn St got a new  HC, Matt Campbell from Iowa St. They lost all their scholarship QB's from last year. Campbell brought over the starting QB from Iowa St and a redshirt freshman. They also have a couple true freshman.

Apparently so far 11 D3 players committed to FBS schools.

Quote from: emma17 on January 23, 2026, 05:10:23 PMHa- you sure are a pot stirrer.

The last time UWW picked up an in-conference transfer at QB (Lewandowski from UWL- w a brief stopover at a Big 10 school), the result was not as hoped for.

Maybe this time the Warhawks hit the jackpot.

Of course I hope we've hit the jackpot.  The position has been a problem since Behrendt but a transfer with a twice torn labrum in this throwing arm causes me to pause. I tore my throwing arm labrum once, had surgery, and was never the same afterward.

According to the article injuries were to the non-throwing shoulder.

This is a game he started in 2024 vs. UWL they mention in article.

Quote from: robertgoulet on January 12, 2026, 09:26:03 PMThe portal has come for NCC, for what I believe is the 1st time (probably not the last time)

Grant McAtee announced he's entering the portal today.

Looks like he got an offer from Tulsa.
