Seeing that Bowdoin is missing their head coach for the third straight game this week, I'm assuming that would be one of the two.

It appears they are starting the season one week later. The first game is not until 9/19. I'm curious how this will impact preseason report dates, which were already late. I also would have thought the NESCAC champion would have appreciated a bye week to get healthy before the playoffs.

This schedule would easily allow a non-conference game at the front end of the season, but it sounds like there is no traction there. Curious what others think.

Nescacman, I'll be in The Coop for the Bants' game against Amherst for sure and hoping to make it to Andrus for the 124th Trinity-Wesleyan game. If it's for the NESCAC title I'll surely find a way and will definitely swing by your tailgate if I'm there.

Kelly isn't close to 5'11". Saw him play in person at Bates. At best, he's 5'8". I'd guess he is also much lighter than 175lbs. He can fly though - the speed is unquestionable.

I would guess the transfer portal would impact the NESCAC less than many other D3 conferences. Most players are in the NESCAC for football and academics. Not a lot of players are going to jump at the opportunity to leave a NESCAC after two years to play at UCONN or UMass.
