Heck of a game. Salisbury came away with a 31-28 victory in the Boro, but Rowan held them to 221 yards in the air and 164 on the ground. For a team that piled up 530 yards of offense against Montclair and 469 against TCNJ, Salisbury had their hands full with Rowan.

Shame on the muffed punt for the Profs.

Salisbury up 21-14 on Rowan at the half. 2nd half starting now.

And Rowan comes away with a 45-16 win, capping it off with a 94 yard run by Mordecai Ford with about 5 to go in the game. Great effort, QB by committee with Maiers going 8/14 157 yards 2 TD 1 INT, and Welsey spelling him for a bit for 150 yards going 7/9. Bukula really put on a show today with 113 yards and 1TD receiving, tacking on 43 on the ground and another TD.

On to Salisbury next weekend.

Quote from: CNU85 on October 04, 2025, 07:30:54 PMWow. I listened to the game while driving on vacation- eventually will end up in Vermont for the game next week.

Can't wait to see stats and write ups. CNU could have cashed it in numerous times but they kept fighting.
This game final did not sit well with me, I watched from the stands. So many questionable calls by the refs marred the game. The dagger was the Questionable Pass Interference call on 4th down to give CNU the opportunity to tie the game. Rowan should have won this game IMO, and I'll die on that hill.
Also a bit disappointing to see how the CNU players were celebrating after the win, rather foolish and immature, didn't expect that from CNU
While on one hand, it was great to see Rowan go toe-to-toe with an ultra talented CNU program, Rowan's shot at the NJAC title is just about zilch now

Have to agree. Son was texting from the stands while I was watching at home and just felt so annoyed by all of it. We had it in the bag.

Rowan celebrating Homecoming looking dominant against Willie P at halftime right now, 21-3.

Rowan setting a school record with 56-0 over Moravian today. Bookman and Ford both rush for 100+, Maiers 13/16 239 4TD.

After last week, we'll take it.
