Absolutely BS for Shuran to not get first team. Obviously an amazing (perfect) season for Jumes as well, but when comparing the stats there is really no argument for Jumes over Shuran. Shuran 9/9 FGs with makes from 47,44,43,37 while going 29/29 on xps. Jumin 7/7 FGs with a long of just 34 and 37/37 on xps. Shuran also hit multiple big time pressure kicks whenever Raymond turned to him. This is either complete Trinity bias by the league or an unacceptable oversight. Obviously Trinity had a better season and therefore will have more all league guys, but when it comes to kickers Shuran quite literally did everything in his power to help the Ephs and was a deep range weapon the NESCAC rarely (if ever) has seen. Putting Jumes above Shuran is an indefensible, idiotic example of malpractice and laziness by the coaches and league to rob Shuran of the recognition he deserves from the lifetime of work he has put in. To wave this aside by saying "eh, who cares, they're just kickers" or that since worse decisions have been made in the past this is ok is pathetic.
