Hey, if you've watched Illinois in the last 2 years you know the spread doesn't have to have a ton of passing yards to be effective.  Although 40 yards passing doesn't seem like very much.......

As someone who recently lost my best friend of almost 20 years, the news of Kevin's death made me sick to my stomach.  I know what his family and friends are going through and wouldn't wish it on my worst enemy.  My thoughts and prayers are with Kevin's family and friends and the entire IWU community.

Well if 2 other teams beat IWU, why does that open the door for UWSP?

Throw more in the bullpen before the game?  Some guys are just like that.  They need to throw a lot more pitches to get to where they need to be.

Well I found out why Augie is not doing live stats or posting updates.  Apparently they have been trying to get cable internet installed at the field for the last two months.  Every time they make an appointment, Mediacom (the cable provider out there) cancels.  Needless to say, it didn't get done.  Dave Wrath is having to go all the way back to campus between games to post the box scores.

I hate to say this, but this is becoming an embarassment for Augustana.  Apparently their game with Wartburg has been over for quite awhile, and still not even a score posted on the website.  I hope they pick up the slack tomorrow with the live stats or at least updates.  I know Augie has a beautiful facility, but this is still an embarassment, especially because they have the capability to do live stats...........

I actually had a final this morning and am in the process of finishing up (or doing most of) a project that is due at 6, and have a final at 6.

I've been looking for awhile and can't find any either.  I really thought Augustana would have them.

Augustana's field is 325 down the lines and 395 to center.  I don't remember for sure what it is in the gaps (370 or 375 I think).  It is a great complex and is only 5 years old.  The field is great.  It has a great atmosphere for baseball.  Here are some pics.

Given the results of the other conference tournaments in the region, I wouldn't be all that surprised if we saw IWU, Carthage, and Augie as the top 3 seeds in the regional.  Of course the NCAA could shift some people around too.  Who knows what will end up happening.

Augustana is just not getting the job done with runners in scoring position.  In the 4th they had a man on 3rd with no outs and couldn't score.  In the 5th they had 2nd and 3rd with no outs and couldn't score.  Against a team like IWU, you can't let opportunities like that get away.

It just said Augustana University, when it should be Augustana College.

Now if they could just get Augustana's name right  .
