Congrats to the Royals fans on another impressive victory and another trip to the national semifinals. Looking forward to seeing Scranton versus NYU on Thursday and seeing my bud Dean Corwin!

If you see me in Salem, please say howdy.

Gordon,
Will do. Nice to be at the Final 4 again. It'll be a daunting task v defending champ NYU but the last time(2019) was against #1 St Thomas More who I think was better than this season's NYU team and also that this Scranton team is also better than that Scranton team. We'll find out Thursday.

Congratulations to the Lady Royals on another magnificent season.
Ben & his staff have done a remarkable job of weaving the various levels of talent together into one pretty  great team.
All the very best to the Lady Royals in Salem...enjoy the memories of a lifetime! :)

Congrats to all! Savior this rarified air of the Final Four!

Scranton and the The Landmark Conference are well-represented on the all region team:

Kranson (POY/1st team)
Talutto (ROY)
O'Brien (COY)
Romanowski (1st team)

Plus Roth, Mummert and Scoblick on 2nd team.

Congratulations to all!

Absolutely a pretty great season by all those you've mentioned.

And to think Kaci wasn't even recruited by former coach DiPillo...as with about 6 or 7 other really good Scranton area kids during his brief (thank God) tenure.

He's been at LeMoyne for 2 years now, if history holds true he'll last another 1 or 2 there before he chases another bright light somewhere in the distance.

NYU is the favorite but they aren't quite as formidable as last year.  The have had a couple of close calls, mainly in UAA competition.  Scranton can win if they can keep turnovers to a minimum and not play at NYU's pace.  NYU plays in a much better league than Scranton which helps in NCAA play.  Even the bottom half of the UAA would be in the top quarter, or better, of almost every other conference.  Not Scranton's fault their league is not that good.  They played and beat everyone on their schedule.  Should be a very good game and not a shock if Scranton wins.

I don't think NYU is the favorite.  They're the giant, given the 91 straight wins and all that, but I'm pretty sure Scranton is the better team overall.  Scott Peterson gives Scranton a 64% chance to win - https://thed3statlab.com/reports/nyu_vs_scranton_20260319.html

I've never seen a better defensive team than this Scranton squad.  They're super deep and probably more talented overall.

Now that doesn't mean NYU is a pushover or anything, but I would be going into this game with some confidence.  If Scranton shows out in the manner they've done each and every game this year, I think they win by 10 or more.

There's always a chance the moment gets too big, but that doesn't seem likely with this particular crew.

The long-timers know I'm happy to pour cold water on optimism, especially when it comes to your Lady Royals (although that's mostly an attempt to temper your incredibly high expectations).  I just think this is, for sure, the real deal this year.
